Frankly its a risky business proposition. There is a dilemma whether if after spending the money Pakistan could win the arbitration case. It seems case could go in favor of India which would mean a huge loss of Chinese. And Chinese are pure business men. They wouldn't want to waste their money on some others perceived mountain deep friendship.

Anyway, the money he donated will go for social works like serving the pilgrims at Ajmer Sharif Shrine. Its not going to Indian government's pocket.

Chinese are business oriented People and it is unlikely that they will give Pakistan billions of dollars free like United States. China's help to Pakistan would only be there when it comes to Veto power, creating nuisance for India by stapled visa but economic bailout of Pakistan by China is impossible.

Even in the projects where Chinese invest in Pakistan all the contracts are giving to Chinese companies and money is ultimately taken back to China and Pakistan paying interest of that. It seems Chinese are feeling that their investment in Pakistan is going to be fruitless.

1. It's up to China either they want to fund the project or not because it's their hard earned money unlike US who just print the papers and bribe corrupts around the world to keep her influence.

2. Even if the projects are awarded to Chinese at-least we got something in Pakistan built unlike US where major chunk go back to US as well and remain goes to swiss banks.

Your sucking up to China has reached epic proportions. It used to be a similar case with USA in 80's and 90's. Lets see how it would be in the coming decades.

This is not the first time that China has ditched its all weather friend where cash is concerned. It refused to bail out Pakistan when it desperately needed $7 billion to fund various projects. Pakistan had to finally approach the IMF. The money was released with a few caveats only after the Yanks intervened on behalf of Pakistan. Yep! With the help of the Yanks whom they hate!

China even refused to help build a Naval base at Gwadar and instead wanted to have a military base in the FATA region, only to prevent terror attacks in Uighur province (which they claim are emanating from the FATA region).

Their promised $200 million for rehabilitation of Pakistan's flood victims hasn't materialized even till today except for a paltry $43 million.

So much for friendship that is deeper than the oceans, higher than the mountains and sweeter than honey!

Even China budged and backed from financing IP pipeline. What is happening to to Friendship.

Most of the people in pakistan are blind in love with china because they think china is their trye friend or help them in case of war with India.

But the reality is that the china only cares about its interest and using pakistan till date.

And after Agni V missile test and the rapidly growing Indian economy and military strength, pakistan will loose its importance for china.

USA have already distanced itself now its the turn of china.
