With UK finally officially out of EU which just signed an investment agreement with China, the British are left behind having missed the boat. China has Covid under control, Europe not so much so when is there a Post Covid Europe or Post Covid USA? Things just got worse in the UK with the new variant. Should worry more about UK rather than trying to stop China as British citizens are still dying and getting infected. These right wing Anglos just don't have the right priorities.

China and Russia must not emerge as the winners from the coronavirus pandemic, Britain’s ambassador to the U.S. said, as she urged the West to show that more open societies thrive.
In an interview with Bloomberg television, Karen Pierce said the U.K. and the U.S. will need to work closely to counter the strategic challenge of China and Russia as the world recovers from the pandemic.

I don't think globalization is to blame here. China is a 5000 years of continous state, 8000 years of known cultural existence; it is, in that sense, a melting pot. A very varied society with thousands of subcultures.

I agree that a US type salad bowl is tantamount to social erosion quickly, but, what is to blame in this case is not globalization, but ideological backwardness and rigidity.

Are you the person who moved the factories to Japan, SK and China? Did you transfer technology and hundreds of billions of dollars to China? No? Neither did I. Somebody else did. Why and what is THEIR plan? Why did they choose East Asia which is among the most monocultural monoethnic places on Earth? Who owns what? Who controls what?

Do you guys recalled in March last year or so, England proposed Olympics be shifted and hold in England instead of in Japan.

That the democracy and freedom of speech and wisdom of whites in Western world far far superior to inferior yellow or brown skins. And Olympics be safer for rest of the world in UK and not in Japan!

That showed another facet of the arrogance of member of 5Eyes and their entire world crashing around their ears and eyes and feet.

Somehow I just cannot feel sad at all even as hundreds of thousands of them are dying.

I remembered very clearly the mockery and laughter and cartoons from them in early 2000 as China struggled to control C19.

They never gave a helping hand and they laughed and mock and laughed again.

I wonder if that cartoonist in Denmark who drew C19 virus into the flag of China is still alive with his family and friends. I will not cry or feel sorry either if I am told he is dead too.
