Su-27SKs are currently being phased out of PLAAF service, as they are reaching the end of their service lives. I would expect them to be completely phased out by 2015.

I would increase the number of J-10s in service, and add a category for Carrier-Capable planes (Su-33, J-11C, or J-10C).

Personally, I don't think that the PLAAF will induct 250 JF-17s (if any at all), they will probably make a jump from J-7s to J-10s.

Q-5s will probably be phased out by then too, and be replaced with more JH-7As.

Dear They are inducting JF-17 next year with Chinees engine. They are not inducting 250, they will probabily induct 50+ but less then 100.

China will prefer J-10B on JF-17.
PAF will follow J-10B upgration for JF-17.

Every body (Pak/ China/ intrested countries) waiting for new engine.

Besides that Pakistan will get 50+ JF-17 this year with Russian engine RD-93

can you confirm it with some link?

To all friends

Carrier Capable Fighter jets J-10C and J-11C (Su-33 Versions of China) used by China Navy Air Command (PLANAF) and not for China Air force (PLAAF).

Since 2007 China manufacturing JF-17 Fighter jets, Now China has 40+ JF-17 Fighter jets. China Air force will use both J-10 and JF-17 jets. In 2015 China Air force will have total 280 - J-10 - Air Superiority & Multirole Fighters and 250 - JF-17 - Multirole Fighter. (According to Defence Source who don’t want to be identify)

Former Pakistan President Mr.Musharf visited J-10 and JF-17 manufacturing plants in China. (Later he told the media, I think Pakistan friends know the incident)

In 2015 China Air force will have total 400 – JH-7 - Ground attack & Maritime air support. (Q-5 replaced JH-7). (According to Defence Source who don’t want to be identify)

You cannot use Wipikedia as a Source. I have quoted them several times and somer members say they are irrelevant.

Not a good source.

Unless they meant only for indian data.

They are good source as long as you check where their sources are from, and quote from the source directly. Wiki is not written by some people just pull things out of their a$$es. Also, look for its discussion of the article and see if there is any controversies. Besides that, they are quite good on having neutrality for its views of point. At least more neutral than a lot of those sources that you can cite from.

As for how the PLAAF is concerned on wiki, since no one really know anything about what they are planning except the people who are planning it, everyone is just speculating . So you should just treat anything you see as a speculation. Even on the China's National Defense White Paper, they did not disclose how they will plan for PLAAF in the future in specific details.

Wiki is not good enough for academic. But most of its resource are trustable and can be referenced from other formal documents. so.i 'll trust 80% of Wiki.

Agree, If u r checking wiki then you should confirm the facts and figures from another source. Wiki is not accepted academically atleast in US.:usflag:
