China aims to capture Arunachal Pradesh/Southern Tibet in next 10-15 years

The last thing we would wish for is war because the subcontinent will be the battlefield. Franky the politics of hate ruin everything.

Look I'm a Bengali Hindu(nominal) living in the west, A lot of my friends are Muslim, we all get along here, my best friend is a Muslim and he drinks more than I do, his brother is studying to be an Imam and thats ok. it is only when I travel to the subcontinent, I see the hate and divide.

History check. In 1971, China was no longer hostile with US. In fact, in 1960s, Pak arranged an alignment between US and China.

If India launches a motion on Britain1945's succession right to the Security Council, it will almost certainly win more than 75% support.
China and Russia will support you.
The former British colonies will support you.
The former French colonies will support you.
Only a few Western countries such as the USA will oppose it, and even western countries such as Canada may support India.

But India dare not, India would rather challenge the veto, you know why. I won't send that picture.

UK has a Kohinoor diamond which they forcibly took from India prior to independence. Successor states India & Pak have not been able to agree as to who should get that diamond. Do you think something so important as a P5 seat would be handed to India and other British colonies wont object? You are being naive.

They will oppose, but they will oppose the second motion that who will inherit the seat.
But the first motion was whether the colonies had the right to inherit seats. They will not oppose India, but support it. Because this means that all colonies may inherit seats.

China will support India in the first round of motion that the colonies can inherit the seats.
But in the second round, China will oppose India's succession, and we will support Pakistan together with Islamic countries.

You said it yourself, in the 2nd motion, India will face significant opposition from various parties and is unlikely to get 75% vote.

Oh ok. So I should call Punjabi as not-Indian but by its independent ethnicity? So Marathi, Gujarati etc are also not Indian?

To be a little fair with our Indians not so friends here, China can overtake the area but it will be hard to hold it as Indians can use the Terrain to launch a guerilla war or insurgency, which eventually cost China a massive Financial and human cost, the best way is to exploit the divide in that particular region to a extend that locals rise up against India, then it will be easier to hold the ground.

it was taken from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, not gujarat nor from wherever the maratha are from.

kana singh had a separate "kingdom" which he had stolen from his afghan overlord by deception and with help from goofy "muslims" of punjab as well as some Pathans. at that time rest of india had been under British rule (thanks originally to bangalis)

he was not part of British india nor was his son --until Britain conquered Panjab-- from whom Britain took the diamond. https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/how-...ladesh-india-with-trains.681927/post-12651064

btw kana singh stole it from the homo babar's heirs. babar had stolen it from durranis who had stolen it from persians (dunno who they had taken it from though). if you must then give it back to Iranis
@M. Sarmad @krash help me please, I hate history as much as I despise math and algebra. these subjects bring on my migraine

Even if India fails, Indians can put forward a new motion the next year and ask for a vote.
China made a total of six times motions before resuming its seat. Do you think India can pass at one time?
Yes, Pakistan, India, Canada, Australia, South Africa and so on, they will all look for supporters to compete for this seat. I don't expect anyone to win for a long time. Britain will continue to reserve its seat.
However, if Britain continues to decline and India really has overwhelming power, India is still the country most likely to win the game.
Don't Indians predict that India will become a superpower? Then don't be afraid of challenges.
At least this path is much easier than challenging the veto.

South Tibet is not a priority for China currently. China's strategic plans are always patient and long term. There's no reason for China to negotiate a border settlement with India right now as China is gaining national power much faster then India. China's negotiation position will only increase as time goes on so why negotiate now. China this decade will speed up development of Tibet along the India border at a pace India will not be able to come close to. Therefore China will not settle the border issue with India in the short to medium term though either war or negotiation.

India has made a pact with Japan, Germany and Brazil that all 4 of us deserve permanent seat in UN. India will not desert its friends to seek power only for itself. We need total UN reform or replace UN with another representative body. Your suggestion does not reform UN. It only replaces UK with India. It feels like a bribe to India to shut its mouth and let P5 extra powers continue.

Bribing India?
No, we just want to completely subvert the Anglo Saxon power framework. Let the five eyes fight each other.
Let India completely offend France and Britain. The seat is only a reward for India. Of course, India needs enough strength to get the reward.

Of course, we know Indians dare not do it.

Born in Gujranwala present day Pakistan, united the current Pakistan and brought it to SC
so he is a Punjabi not an Indian, in the era he was living in Indian was an identity like being Asian is an identity (where they have nations within the vast areas)

If someday if China names itself Asia doesn't mean Japanese, Vietnamese will automatically become Chinese, just because they are considered asians

The plan to replace UK with India in P5 is doomed to fail and anyways will not lead to UN reform. So no thanks.

There was no Pakistan at that time. That land and that culture belonged to India and Indian culture.

this "pact" gives india some support but also brings with it insurmountable obstacles. for one, even if india/china become close friends, china will never allow any vote to pass that allows japan to get a UNSC permanent seat. this is a non-negotiable. and not just china, but countries like Korea will fight tooth and nail against japan gaining a seat.
