China: A Bad Taste in India’s Mouth

Bro, You are right... Chinese withdrew because we were retaliating fast after their incursion and they literally had less supply routes to survive more than few days, So they backed out immediately calling it as a ceasefire. Though Aksai Chin is a different case altogether.

In today's scenario our mountain warfare tactics has increased thousand fold than in 1962. Not to forget many western soldiers learn from our mountain warfare academies in India before their missions in Afghanistan.

Even today, Chinese can't send their infantry in case of war in these high mountainous region. Geographically its suicide for Chinese army. So they should solely depend on PLAAF and missiles. India is working very fast to defend these threats as well.

Unless you have boots on the ground, you cant control an inch of land.

Missiles and Air force can only help in the process but eventually u need infantry to annex lands

OK then, we'll stop building up our economy, and let India take our place on the UN Security Council.

LOL, one guy gets manhandled, and that is indicative of an entire nation's mentality? I can find many individual incidents in India to show their mentality then.

It is pointless to try to reason with a certified idiot. Yesterday, he was talking about Chinese apartheid.

Today, India is doing the following:

Building 155/45 upgraded Bofors prototypes

Inducting 89,000 new troops

Mountain strike corps being established

145 m777 howitzers plus liscenced TOT in works

300 light tanks plus TOT in works

Akash/SU 30MKI deployed in North East

Independent armor brigade set up in NE

Brigade to be set up in Ladakh

Helipads and airstrips upgraded all along the LAC

A massive Infantry overhaul ( new weapons protective gear coms etc.)

16 C 17 globemasters to ferry troops rapidly in case of a rapid Chinese buildup

12 c 130j's to ferry elite troops

22 Apache Longbows (options for more)

100+ LCH for the LAC

New defensive bunkers along the LAC

Heavy machine guns, mortars, large caliber sniper rifles for troops along LAC

A nuclear triad specifically aimed at deep penetration strikes (300k +)

Short range tactical nukes (frogs)

Let the Chinese talk all they want. India is preparing just in case the talks don't work out.

I'm not losing any sleep over China and its intentions.
u missed a very important weapon brahmos LACM blockII or blockIII in future:pop:

An Indian diplomat was "manhandled", and then he "fainted".

If he was sick, then why was he sent on such an errand in the first place? Being manhandled is a part of life in a crowded country.

In china if you are diabetic do they send you away to live in special camps for the disabled? In the rest of the civilized world being diabetic does not mean you cannot perform your job. The rest of the world has to understand that china does not have any laws on the local levels , just hoodlums , similar to 3rd world ****-hole countries run by mini dictators

Thats exactly i was trying to prove them. They can launch missiles from other side and cant capture anything. And we are strong enough to screw them if they step in.

I am sure they would have come back and said, They will conquer India with only their Airforce and Missiles. Someone would have posted 1000's of Missile wallpapers in replying my message.

HaHa you broke the fun! :P

i already told this to CD 2 to 3 times . it seems, he is determined to ignore reality. wwddpqddpq

I guess you don't know what happened in 1962.

To sum up: We smashed and humilated India easily, and won in both sectors.
Guess your history books only mentioned till 1962. Since you are one of the few lucky Chinese to access the Internet, google[if it's available] Indo-China skirmishes, come back and say what you want to say.

I hear allot of talk from Chinese and Pakistani people on the forum.

If you're countries are so strong, and so sure of themselves, why haven't they invaded India for the disputed territory recently (last time was 1999 Kargil and we all know how that turned out).

The answer is simple.

Your countries aren't sure they can win without suffering horrible losses (nuclear weapons change the equation considerably).

You can check all of my posts to see if I ever use inflammatory speech. I don't. I expect some mature answers. Not the schoolyard talk I constantly see on these forums. It would be nice to have a decent debate above the 5th grade level.

If these are only copied junk weapons , then what is your naval chief scared of ? :P Or probably you know better than him right ?

What Admiral said was that it is impractical for Indian Navy to fight in South China sea as the fleet defence ship of Indian Navy would not be able to withstand the combined attacks of chinese land based aircrafts and it's naval assets. It should be a no brainer as chinese would be fighting in their home territory within the range of their aircrafts. This does not mean that chinese have any capacity in Indian Ocean or Bay of Bengal/Arabian sea to be exact. They have no naval base in this area nor they have enough vessels to station there (Gwadar would have become chinese base by now if they had enough assets to spare).Add to this the fact that chinese have to pass through choke point of mallaca or lombok strait and they would be suffering from same handicap that Indian Navy would have suffered in south China sea ie facing both naval and Air Assets combined and supply issues(Fuel and ammunition).

There is no need for China to challenge Indian in the Indian ocean as long as the shipping lanes are open. The Chinese navy in the Indian ocean is on the anti-piracy mission with tons of other nations.
