Chief of the Royal Air Force (UK) visits Air Headquarters

.
I know but since some of our friends here love to "discover" deal i thought it would be rude of me not to play along. :P SOMETIMES at least!!!

I wonder if there are such characters in UK as well who would have used the FT-7 flight event to claim that "RAF is getting F7s from Pakistan" :undecided:
no, we want to jf-17:p:
dont forget the tot

I know but few other things are happening in background
@Bilal Khan (Quwa) site article
http://quwa.org/2017/03/29/pakistan-air-force-chief-sets-expectations-near-long-term-force-goals/

ACM Aman mentioned efforts towards procuring a new off-the-shelf fighter. He stated that the PAF is in talks with several countries in regards to 5th-generation fighter aircraft. These talks are in the advanced stages and will be sought to “plug in” gaps. Interestingly, ACM Aman mentioned this project separately from indigenous efforts, which he said will require PAC to develop a next-generation fighter as well as its internal subsystems, such as its avionics.

With the PAF “very satisfied” with the JF-17, ACM Aman indicated that the Thunder will receive most of the PAF’s investment. Bringing the JF-17 to complete maturity (via the Block-III) is a priority. However, ACM Aman added that the PAF is still engaged with the U.S. about procuring additional F-16s.

The domestic development and manufacturing of a next-generation fighter is a long-term goal. Next month, Kamra Aviation City will enrol its first cohort of post-graduate engineering students, who will study disciplines directly relevant to aircraft manufacturing. Kamra Aviation City’s institutes will closely work with the aviation industry. ACM Aman emphasized the need for the PAF – and the country as a whole – to become as independent as possible in sourcing technology.

this means there's two fighters being developed one of the shelf and the other independently.

@Blue Marlin you do not know how to say such things my friend. You have no sense of exaggeration (yes i just made that up, "sense of exaggeration", cool i would say)

Here, read and learn boss!!

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of air staff Pakistan air forces discussing the JF-17 fighter with Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen John Hillier, Chief of the Air Staff, Royal Air Force during his visit to Air Headquarters Islamabad today.

Reliable sources of mine confirmed that the visit is regarding JF17 procurement by RAF that was discussed (see the JFT model in the back ground as evidence). The picture also shows an empty frame on the table, with Pakistani and British flag on its either side. The empty frame is a further proof that RAF will buy JF17 and this frame is actually meant to hold a pic of JF17 with UK flag on it. I am 100% sure of this deal as i have got confirmation from a very reliable insider source from UK and there is absolutely no way it can be wrong. I am sorry i cannot reveal exactly who he is but here are his exact words, forwarding as received:

SEE,, I TOLD YA!!

saudis don't operate harrier, and paf don't need it, even mirages and f-7 are better than harrier.

thanks for wasting a few minutes of my life i feel i may never get back. i should have just read the above
^

in reality he was called to meet your acm. a more realistic outcome would be in the field of training or at most a helmet display from bae system. emphasis on the "at most" for hobs missiles (which too need to be procured)

Dude, these are just goodwill visits, he is the guest of honour for the passing out ceremony.
When PAF Airchief was in UK a few years back, he even went up in a EF Typhoon just like sometimes back another visiting RAF Chief was given a familiarisation flight in a Sargodha based FT-7.

Didn't @Zarvan predicted Typhoons coming ? :undecided:

Yup I did what I know is PAF is looking for a 4.5th Generation Fighter and SU-35 and Euro Fighter are lead candidates so let's hope one of them at least come because we need it. So I hope this trip is related to that and not just a good will visit.

Didnt you predicted this in relation to a visit to ITALY in the past? Is it UK now? :O
