well jagjitnatt i dont want to make this emotional or personal but PAFs task was to protect the skys against a stronger enemy...all other Arab countries were having difficulties in air ...and paf did its job well but out come of one battle does not affect the entire war ...paf was called in desperate measures ...not to win the war but to defend its allies...

There are always some heroes but it takes a battalion of heroes to win a war. It was Israel that turned out to be the hero. Outnumbered not only by military but also by countries, Israeli air force is the best in the world, and its been proved.

Where the arab countries lost over 400 aircraft, Israel lost just 46. Now that's courage and skill, contrary to you thread.

It's naive to assume that a few PAF pilots could determine the out come of the war, but none the less they left their mark on the aggressor. It's also ironic that you repeatedly resort to the six day war but give no comments on the most recent conflict with Hezbollah. It also transpires that even your country fellows assisted Israel but to no avail.

Sir Ji we also know the truth of your so called best Airforce in the world.Fighting against our Poorly Trained Muslim Brethren doesn't make you the Best.In 67 we only had a single Pilot and he shot down 4.

In 73 our few Pilots shot down 2.

We didn't lose a single Pilot or Aircraft.

I though agree with your assessment that a battalion of heroes is needed to win a War.

Personally i think if PAF had stationed More Pilots and that also Permanently you wouldn't be hearing of Israeli Airforce superiority myth.

We must had at least stationed 50 Pilots in each of the 3 countries.But then if we had given so many Pilots our own Skies would become defense less.
