NO news in Public domain, only hearsay, Need is there, so is the expectation and desire.

Have you heard in the news of Spanish, Arabic and Hebrew speaking ISIS fighters in Afghanistan? Have you heard in the news that how CIA, Hamid Karzai and his brothers were involved in drug smuggling?

There is lot of stuff that doesn't come in news but it doesn't mean that it's not true.

We all are waiting for this news to be true, PAF need to fill the gap created by denial of F16 with J10C in the due course. This wait is not coming to its due culmination by now,
My expectation is J10C in coming not in "ones and twos" like Indian Rafales but like VT4. 2 to 3 squadrons in one go.
The J10C will ultimately take the roles of F16 enabling PAF to confront Indians more aggressively.
J10C will also bring interoperability and collaboration to the next level for PAF and PLAAF flying the same bird.

why would pakistan want j10 with block 3 jf17 under production? also project azm... seems counterintuitive

JF-17 Thunder is light-weight aircraft that will replace PAF's imported light-weight fighters (Mirages and F-7s). Requirement is 200-250 aircraft.

J-10 is a medium-weight aircraft that will either replace PAF's medium-weight F-16s or increase the total number of medium-weight fighters operated by the the PAF (120-150 would be ideal).

NGF will be a PAF air superiority fighter Insha'Allah. Bigger and more advanced than both the J-10s and the F-16s with the PAF.

If the NGF is based on j31 it might be just a medium range platform. They would need to significantly enlarge it

Following some seniors opinion above, you all must agree now that,

1- Pakistan and China have always kept defence agreement hidden like many other global army do. Pakistan is constantly saying that they got equivalent to Rafale jet fighters to combat India.. You all know those equivalent are not old JF17, Mirage5, old F16. Those equivalent must be either J-20, J-10c or other new Chinese J series jet fighters.
2- In media videos, Why Pak Army chief Gen Qamar J. Bajwa is inspecting inside/outside of J-10c and flying J-10c ? .
