What's new

Chechen wars. Chechnya indepedence fails. Russian territorial integrity restored.

. . .
One day historians will name 1989-2000 events as Second Times of Troubles or Decade of Humiliation or something like that. Those days harmed Russia harder than Napoleon and Hitler combined.

Chechens had a square shot at independence had Dudayev wasnt killed or it did not turn into a wahhabi mess group I say the status quo is better now Kadyrov is hard on a lot of things but the current autonomy set up is alright for now

The Chechen Commander (from video above) and Basayev are one of the reasons why the Second Chechen War even started... they created a group called IIPB and started attacks in Dagestan.

Basayev also fought with the Russians in the Abkhazia War.

Efforts of Dudayev and struggle of the Chechen people, destroyed because some fanatic extremists.

Russian occupation won't last.

In fact, I'm of the belief that post-Putin, Russia is gonna decline greatly, and will likely have greatly shrunken borders.

CIA was using Wahhabi Mullah to create more countries in Russian Territory,

Ramzan Kadyrov fought first Chechen War against Russian, when he come to know CIA is using Wahhabi Terrorists to separate Chechnya from Russia, he joined United Russia political party and started to Support Russia...

Chechnya could never be independent. Unless it got major support from one of the neighbouring countries it would just fall apart through poor governance and lack of resources.

There's nothing to decline. Already it's China's Canada with an overrated military. Maybe in the future will turn into a Chinese province altogether.

Well, I believe after Putin true revival of Russia begins. Putin just building a foundation. The world waits for revision of spheres of influence after US collapse. And we will take as much as we can in Europe, Asia, Africa and America. It already begins - slowly but surely.

That wont remain the same in Post Putin Russia though. Putin needs to secure a Suitable Successor other wise i dont think see the Status quo surviving. Peace has lasted because of personal understanding between Kadirove and Putin.

Putin is an interesting character I think for a large country like the Russian Federation there are multiple options for a successor in around his cabinet and in military circles that could take over besides China does not want a weak Russian Federation one that could fall to an abyss like it was in the 1990s but nor does it want a aggressive or strong Russia to counter Beijing's ambitions in Eurasia itself Russia will stay afloat via gas sales to China and China buying military hardware and tech from Moscow so I dont see the RF breaking up into pieces like the USSR but will be propped up be Beijing for its interests in the region and abroad

@Dr. Strangelove A example would be like Pakistan had it not been for China support Economic and Political I dont think Pakistan would have weathered the storm with the Americans you can question their policies domestic wise and the Chinese in general same goes for Russia as well what China envisions are buffer states in its sphere to prevent the US from countering their ambitions
