Chechen leader blames US & Western intel for Islamic State terrorists

Ramzan Kadyrov has accused the US and other Western nations of “spawning” the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) terrorist group in order to incite hatred towards Muslims all over the world.

Today, no one doubts the fact that this group has been spawned by America and other Western countries in order to spark hatred of Islam in the hearts of people all over the planet, to stop the process of mass conversion to Islam,” the head of the Chechen Republic wrote on his Instagram page.

Kadyrov also suggested the West was backing IS in order to distract public attention from numerous problems in the Middle East, in the hope of destroying Islamic nations from inside.

Ramzan Kadyrov is a devoted Muslim known for his staunch support of believers and his opposition of radical movements within Islam. In September last year, he vowed to destroy the Islamic State, after the group threatened to attack Russia. The threat surfaced in a video message and was a reply to Moscow’s support of Bashar Assad.

In November, Kadyrov announced that the source of the threat - Islamic State military commander “Omar the Chechen” had been eliminated. "That will happen to everyone who threatens Russia and the people of Chechnya. This will happen to everyone who sheds Muslims' blood," the head of the Chechen Republic wrote in his Instagram, posting a photo of what he said was the terrorist’s dead body.

Prior to this the Chechen leader had told reporters that he possessed information that the IS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, had been recruited to work for the US personally by General David Petraeus, the former director of the CIA, and former commander of coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. At that time, Kadyrov claimed the Islamic State “was acting on orders from the West and Europe.”

Last year, a veteran Russian intelligence officer also suggested the West had played a crucial role in the birth of the Islamic State group. “There are some grounds to suspect American and British special services might support the Islamic extremists in order to target the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation,” Lieutenant-General Nikolai Pushkaryov, formerly of the Central Intelligence Directorate of the Russian General Staff, said in an interview with RIA-Novosti.

The top command of these movements could be under the influence of NATO agents,” he added.

Russia recognizes the Islamic State as a primary threat and has pledged support to countries and groups fighting against the organization. However, in September 2014, Russia refused to join the US-led anti-IS coalition, blaming its members for using double standards and breaching international law.

He himself was as a terrorist. His father switched sides because Putin bribed him.

. . . .
If America supported the mujahideen or so called during the 1980's just to see a Soviet defeat it can do so again when it suits said countries interests. The reality is America has promoted and harbored terrorism in other countries including against Russia.

Mmm, you don't consider the poll question a leading question?

Before speaking of "yet another western intelligence PsyOp"and " to demonize the image of Islam" I'ld like to see some very hard evidence for both operation(s) and purpose(s) of any operation

BESIDES:
  • RT, originally Russia Today, is a Russian state-funded television network which runs cable and satellite television channels, as well as Internet content directed to audiences outside the Russian Federation.
  • RT is a brand of "TV-Novosti", an "autonomous non-profit organization", founded by the Russian news agency RIA Novosti on April 6, 2005.
  • During the economic crisis in December 2008, the Russian Government headed by Vladimir Putin included ANO "TV-Novosti" in the list of core organisations of strategic importance of Russia.
  • RT has been called a propaganda outlet for the Russian government and its foreign policy by former Russian officials and by news reporters, including former RT reporters. It has also been accused of spreading disinformation.
  • The United Kingdom media regulator Ofcom has threatened RT with sanctions because of repeated violations of its rules on impartiality.

Just so you understand the source from which this material comes.

Silly thread.

My answer to you is "Cause & Effect". As for the source, RT is a highly reputable channel especially compared to the propaganda saturated american media. You can just answer no on the poll if the question makes you angry.

Who says I'm angry. I often construct surveys and this question is a leading question. You're not going to get good answers e.g. because NO can mean different things here
No, I do not think ISIS is yet another western intelligence PsyOp to demonize the image of Islam (at all)
No, I do not think ISIS is yet another western intelligence PsyOp to demonize the image of Islam (perhaps the first)
No, I do not think ISIS is yet another western intelligence PsyOp to demonize the image of Islam (but someone elses)
No, I do not think ISIS is yet another western intelligence PsyOp to demonize the image of Islam (some other purpose)

Shall I disect the other options too?

I'm not defending US media (but at least they are not state owned ;-)

I believe after USA is done with Middle East they will move onto Central Asia, so far Russia has been cock blocking USA but slowly with the help of their salafi allies they will destabilise Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.

That range of options for No is fine. I intended it to be that way. The poll guages a particular opinion.

I've found RT to be reliable news source for the most part. There are others who would agree with me. We can agree to disagree :D

I blame the likes of him, how many red headed Chechens do you see in ISIS videos, fucking loads.

I haven't said it is unreliable, I've pointed out who RT is / speaks for. I.e. their particular perspective.

The poll doesn't gauge anything. For starters, I'm so annoyed by the poor formulation I won't seriously answer it. I'm sure there are more who think like that. Soon you have selection bias.

RT is one of the most reliable news sources to be broadcasting compared to the cesspool of american propaganda out there.
