True. Actually see - all I am saying is that in India, Indians cutting across religious lines have a problem with religion defining culture. The people who are the biggest critics of Islam in India blame not the folks who follow Islam but maintain an Indian culture but those who are Salafis. The ordinary Indian muslim has little to do with establishing Shariah etc. In short 'we' blame only those who claim to be rejecting Indian culture following what they call 'true Islam'.

I'm going out, until I come back I will provide the source. The reason of exclusion was, IIRC, due to to different versions of Quran that existed at that time, once he found the anamoly, He excluded it.

umm no, i gave the first ever sessionals, so i think i didnt do quite well so i was asking maybe the first tests are maybe a bit difficult as you have done BSc, no?

I feel sorry for you for believing yourself to be more intelligent and enlightened then the God was 1400 years ago. I mean how pathetic are you and your kind, what sorry state of mind you all are in to question God's word and to measure it in time and space. Even though we are still unraveling the mysteries b/w time and space, your kind believe yourself to be so intelligent so as to question divine revelations.

A brain is present inside a small insect as well. There are intelligent animals that can use logic and reasoning to some extent.......does that mean that they start questioning their level of reasoning and logic with humans? There is gravity on earth which is not the same on the moon.......are the things not relative to their position in the universe? But well, as religion tell us that there are signs everywhere for those who can 'see' and who are not blinded.

I am not intelligent as you are but i stopped reading after that bolded part.... Why i cant question god about its nizam for human if i observe something is wrong in that.... I believe no religion is absolute be it your or mine .... So there is always scope of amending it for good with right ....
Even many mullahs says same in bolded part if encountered with difficulty to convince people.....

That is their prob we have similar situation in the Quran and bible (same story) of prophet Moses AS where after rescuing the Bani Israel he took them to safety and told them to wait for him while he goes and talks to god..he goes and when he comes back they are praying a calf made of jewelery they had (similar to an idol they saw on their way and had requested Moses to get one for them but he refused as he said God is above that - idol)

This is just 1 example of such a community

So basically its a problem since long before but such "communities" were punished DIRECTLY by GOD coz a Prophet was among them and they still did not believe...we believe there is no more prophet so we wont get such catastrophic but since we have been given the advice in full (Quran) we will get a tougher QA session in the grave!

Honestly speaking I dont know much about all these segregation ...What the heck is a Salafi...I have heard people call them everything from Sufi to Wahabi.....so am not sure no longer what this breed is!


Well it is clear in a hadith that if your culture doesnt go against teachings of Islam it is fine but if it does leave it for something better.... (sort of an advice to make your own life easy instead of getting all confused)

So if the blame game and finger pointing is from both sides...you cant really call yourslef great as you are doing the same as the one you are blaming and pointing a finger at!

@utraash Sorry took me some time to come to this post....

Needed a sane mind to answer this one...

To my shock is people are not ready to go by today's time needs n persists about some verses written some 1400 yrs ago.

1) what are today´s time needs?
2) show me 1 verse from the Quran that goes against it....
3) You are worried about 1400 yrs some ppl still follow the vedas and how old is that? (not being rude just countering)

Give me a logic why women cant lead a prayer in mosque for women n men ?

1 simple logic is how we pray

We pray by standing shoulder to shoulder there is no room for air its a compact community ....

By having a woman and man that close its not advisable in any era! From body heat to hormones everything will bother you from having a prayer that is solat khusyuk...which basically needs you to concentrate on god over your surroundings ....

And when you stand shoulder to shoulder you dont ask what the status of the person next to you is...He can be a king or pauper, he can be a rapist or an extra handsom man....in case you are talking about how the ONLY woman who led the prayer prayed - they had men and women standing shoulder to shoulder and some not even having the basic hijab....if one is going that far to distort every principle of Islam ...I dont see any need for following such a twisted version!

If you say no only woman be the imam then there will be questions why men are to stand in front why not behind? why not let them see the bums when women bow (we pray we bow and prostate) so yes you get to see alot of bums..again will hinder ur concentration no matter how HOLY you are you are human first than Muslim!

If any religious verses(Bible or Islam or Hindu) are so absolute then y brain exist inside human head which talk on the basis of reasoning n logic instead we could have simply dos n dons n human life would not have so miserable as we see it today......

Even when preparing for an exam ....you do some problems which are similar and practice ....you also learn theories but you apply it by using your brain....

By simply having dos and donts you dont get tested....you dont think then why have a brain? just shows god wants us to think and apply the theory he gives us
