KARACHI, Aug 14 (APP): A change of guard ceremony was held at the Mazar-e-Quaid on Sunday on the occasion of Independence Day of Pakistan where a contingent of cadets from the Pakistan Naval Academy took over guard duties at the mausoleum.
The cadets of Pakistan Navy assumed the guard duties in a ceremony held at the mausoleum of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on 65th Independence day of the country.
Chief guest of the ceremony Commodore Muhammad Abid Awan, inspected the guard of honour and laid a floral wreath and offered fateha at the Mazar-e-Quaid.
Earlier, a smart contingent of Pakistan Navy presented guard of honor to the father of Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah to pay him homage on 65th Independence day of the country.
