Chandu Chavan's Brother is Pleading to Pakistani Officials on Twitter for Release of his Brother

It is all playing with words. India is good with that and so is Indian army. I can accept that due to non professional attitude prevalent in Indian army but then Indian army first tried to disown Chandu Chavan. They clearly said that Chandu crossed LOC deliberately and not inadvertently.

See that kiddo. Read the bold part. Your army is very clear. It was no mistake. It was no inadvertent crossing. Chandu chavan knew that he was crossing LOC into AJK and despite several cautions he did that. This is what your army first said when it was trying to disown Chandu.

It is only later because of criticism that Indian army had to change its position.

My English is perfect. It is you who needs to get his head out of the sand and stop making yourself such an easy toy in our hands. :D

Don't know about Myanmar but leaving whole state at mercy of PLA is a no tactical retreat.

And I know all about Kargil. I have read your BS stories about it too. We accepted what belonged to us and left others for you fools to bury and do propoganda for you gullible nation over it.

Now back to Chandu please since that is the topic now. :)

Let me spoon feed you son, clearly you don't have the requisite skill to decipher chain of event which happened here

Chandu had an argument with his superior officer. He deserted his post without orders from his superior officer(that is why called a deserter). He started walking in direction of LOC, his colleagues shouted at him to turn back, but in his fit of rage he did not listen, and he inadvertently crossed onto Pakistani side of LOC.

Now is that too hard to understand ? Or perhaps show it your English tutor, he would explain to you, how none these terms are contradictory can happen simultaneously.

No", surrendering half your country should be while you have more than Eighty thousand soldiers at your command is called a "tactical retreat"
If you don't know about PAF personnel fleeing to Mayanmar, you should read up.

They are not my BS stories, they are facts of Kargil war, perhaps ask your dad, he saw the events as they happened.
Pakistan only started accepting its soldiers bodies in penultimate days of Kargil war, when there was no away around and Pakistani denials were proving too embarrassing for your whole country.

.
While Chando Chavan's own country has forgotten him amid surgical strike drama and political point scoring, his elder brother who is also a soldier in Indian army is busy pleading and begging to Pakistani officials for his brother's release on Twitter.

Now even I feel sorry for this guy. His rulers and his military did a drama for facesaving but this poor guy shouldn't pay for their immaturity. He is just a pawn in their follies. His grandmother already passed after hearing news of his capture. We must release him if we are done with all the interrogation with him.

"We must release him", there is no "must", we don't have to release him. He participated in act of aggression against Pakistan and the tension has not reduced and he will rejoin his unit to attack Pakistan again. We need to keep him until hostilities have reduced and then negotiate with India for his return.

Lol, you are a funny guy and making up a funny fantasy story. He was caught in an active engagement with Pakistan armed forces in which many of his colleagues died. They tried to infiltrate Pakistan's army's line of defence and were totally neutralised by brave Pakistani soldiers. Fortunately for him he was captured alive.

. .
This is nothing new..Indians are well know for abandoning and disowning their service personal..Kul Bhushan was also disowned..!

.
He should also question his defence minister as why his brother, part of that hanuman brigade which went deep inside Pakistani territory and came back home undetected, what went wrong with his brother? Did his cloaking armour malfunctioned? He should be seeking answers from his own state first and foremost.

.
He is still a deserter for leaving his post without orders, but he did cross into Pakistan inadvertently and that has been Indian position all along, perhaps it is your weak grasp over English language, that you do not understand, how both these process can be simultaneous.

No running away to Mayanmar is a tactical retreat, committing largest surrender in last 70 years in a tactical retreat.

I guess you were too young or perhaps not born yet to remember Kargil.

Pakistan repeatedly stated, that none of its soldiers were in Kargil and carried on with this idiotic narrative for 10 years after Kargil was over, when confronted with ID cards of its dead Pakistani soldiers, Pakistan even initially refuse to accept their dead bodies. And that is called disowning your soldiers.

It was only when Pakistani lies were busted, after RAW leaked Musharrafs conversation tapes, was Pakistan army embarrassed enough to accept the dead bodies of its soldiers, but mind you, Pakistan army it still kept up with its stupid story, that there are no Pakistani soldiers in Kargil for ten more years.

Indo-Pak border is not a hair line..and a soldier serving 24/7 on the border cannot cross it so easily by mistake..and had such mistake been possible..there should be other incidents of soldiers crossing the borders by mistake as well during the same time frame.....

.
Well what I see is a brother doing his job for his brother. I would say hang or behead Kulbacan Yadev; the RAW agent but we should release him since he was just a soldier but when the govt of Pakistan feels appropriate.

Post reported for offensive and derogatory words used intentionally. @waz @Manticore @WebMaster @Oscar sir please check quatrd posted where begging word is inyentionally used in military affairs. It should not be irrespective of us being of opposite states.

Too bad when whole India was dancing on their fake 'Surgical Strike' and their media was going gaga over it..

His brother a Indian Army soldier was in Pak's custody and there was no mention in Indian media over it.

Disgusting, absolutely disgusting !!!!
Sorry if you didn't read the news, but indeed there are so many news follow ups in this transgression incident.

Abandoning serviceman, who spend all their life serving the country is truly sad. Politicians of these days are the worst creatures.
Totally untrue and uncalled for.

.
Who disowned who here ?
India has already asked for his release.

Only you are talking about disowning your retired soldier, because he is old and is off no more use to Pakistan.

But then disowning your soldiers either retired, serving or dead, comes naturally to you, remember Kargil.
STFU,kid he was a civilians, civilians from both sides mistakenly cross many times a year and they are returned.

He is still a deserter for leaving his post without orders
Kiddo,go and learn meaning of DESERTER.

.
In 2012, we returned A Pakistani soldier of 25 Frontier force regiment who deserted and crossed into India

In 2013, we honorably returned the body of a soldier who crossed LoC and opened fire.

In 2005, A Pakistan air force helicopter carrying supplies to Neelum valley after earthquake landed in Tangdhar, both the helicopter and crew were returned after a few hours of interrogation.
The Pakistani chopper even violated UN rules by not removing UN markings. The Pak Military chopper has returned from a deployment in UN two months back but was still sporting UN markings in some parts.

Again in early 2006, a Pakistani soldier of 8th sindh regiment was returned after he allegedly lost his way in fog in Drass and detained by an Indian patrol.

Political point scoring on surgical strike or not. But not releasing him will just create a bad precedent. If we can remember there are many incidents of soldiers for both sides crossing the LOC and IB (intentionally or unintentionally) and handed over back after completion of due procedures. If ever a Pakistani soldier happens to be caught by Indian Army in future, I'm afraid he will have the same fate as Mr. Chandu Chavan. :(

2014: Pakistan has handed back an Indian soldier who was swept by a river into Pakistani-controlled territory in Kashmir.

2011, Pakistan forced an Indian military helicopter to land after it crossed into Pakistani territory. It was later released.
