I thought the Rover is being developed by Russia. Good that our University is developing it.

IIT Kanpur has a decent enough research base. They had also earlier came up with a tsunami detector prototype which was shelved by the govt. Later immediately after the tsunami stuck in 2004, the govt claimed they will come up with a detector soon which was basically IITK's refined prototype only.
