Chaiwala redux: India's unemployment rate hit 45-year high in 2017/18: report

The students were NOT protesting about quota reform because of a LACK of JOBS, they were protesting because of 'student admittance' quotas whereby students from certain reserved ethnic groups as well as other groups (children of freedom fighters for example) got admitted solely because of their memberships to those groups (and not because of merit alone).
the reason they were protesting about the said quotas in the first place was the relatively high unemployment rate among the GRADUATE students.

Besides most of them will get private job and not govt job, as govt job posts are limited, so indeed this was a protest against this elite quota , not against unemployment
Many (but not all ) sought after these government jobs after they were unsuccessful to get one in the private sector in the first place. (granted there is a significant portion who solely focus on government job, due to various facilities)

Now, why would they be unsuccessful? The same reason why we have many indians working white collar jobs in bd, the employers think local graduates are not "skilled" enough compared to thrir indian counterparts.

Why do you have to measure your small dick with others unnecessarily? Irrespective of what other countries' performances are, the country should set its own targets and achieve them with its own resources and manpower as much as possible. Here, you guys are self-flattering when international people castigate BD as being lower than Cambodia.
Nope, not comparing. Just giving u an example so that u can realise the actual position of Bangladesh in terms of economy and other social factors compared to other southeast asian countries and stop making ignorant comments.

Secondly, who told u that we dont have our own goal ? Just because u dont know it does not necessarily mean it doesn't exist. What international people considers due to their ignorance means little to nothing to us. Anyway, International people also considers India as a country that begs money from other countries and instead of spending it behind its poor malnourished slum dwelling people (who also dont have access to proper sanitary facility which is why most of them r usually seen to take their dumps on street) they spend it behind useless statues.

Those students/job seekers protested because they believed few students/job seekers were getting unfair advantage in government jobs due to quota system.

Wrong. Almost every graduate in Bangladesh sought after government jobs. This trend has significantly increased in recent times as the salaries in govt jobs have increased almost 2 times in last 4/5 years. Those who r incapable of facing huge competition that exists in govt job exams or have failed to pass these exams on multiple occasions usually look for jobs in private sectors.
