Chairman PTI Imran Khan Exclusive Interview on CNN The World Right Now with Hala Gorani (24.08.17)

Imran spoke very well, but he should hve been a bit more harsh.

I agree. His tweets about the matter were perfect. He took a softer tone on CNN and it came across unnatural. Whoever adviced him needs to address that. Unfortunately too many of our leaders seem to think they need to change tone when talking to the goray. He sounded less fearless leader and more jilted lover..lol All that talk of hurt and dissapointment, it detracted from the very good points he made about US failure in Afghanistan, the scope of the Haqqani network vs their alleged influence, the economic loss to Pakistan, the cost of lives in Pakistan. The content was great, the tone was off key.

He should never have used the word humiliated, he should have said how he considers such aid to be a curse, he should have used pin pointed out there is not billions in aids and merely repayments for the logistcal support and finally he should have highlighted Pakistan being the most successful nation in defeating terrorism, especially compared to NATO efforts in Afghanistan. I would have also mentioned how US failed policies during the war on terrro have spread and established terrorist networks to Yemen, Libya, Iraq and Syria and should have asked how a country with such a miserable record on anti terrorism claims the authority to dictate to others how to deal with it?

---

It's nice to have a leader where we can nit pick the finer details of his speech, rather than the abject failures we are used to. I wonder though if getting closer to the throne is going to change him? I'd be bitterly dissapointed.

Lets expand the chronological series of events.

1. Mushy forced to do NRO
2. Benazir comes to the country and gets killed
3. Zardari takes power on the wave of the death of Benazir.
4. Memogate, Salala, Raymond Davis incidents happen exposing Pakistan weaknesses.
5. Economy is deteriorating and debt increasing.
6. Nawaz sharif comes to power.
7. So many failed projects (Nandipur, Solar Park, Orange line, etc etc)
8. Loadshedding continues and business continue to relocating overseas.
9. Economy suffering and highest debt rise in history of Pakistan.
10. Indian Spy caught but Nawaz is quiet
11. Altaf toad calls Pakistan Murdabad, Nawaz quiet
12. Achakzai calls KPK part of Afghanistan, Nawaz quiet
13. India does LOC violations by firing and bombing on AJK civilians, Nawaz quiet, instead invites Modi to attend his grand-daughters wedding.
13. Jindal secret visit Murree to meet Nawaz.

All these events seem to target Pakistan by forcing these corrupt and treacherous leeaches into power.

@The Sandman @PakSword @Arsalan @Zibago @Zarvan @Emmie @Oscar @waz what do you guys think
Awesome post bro

Definitely a stupid interview! He could have put forward so many facts that he did not - he did not talk about terrorist attacks in Pakistan that are masterminded within Afghanistan; he did not talk about India's role in destabilizing Pakistan; he did not point out that the US would be putting a bullet in its own foot by leaving a worthwhile ally; and, he should have pointed out that we have been getting no real 'aid' from the US for many years now!

There is a fine line being between being harsh, unreasonable and being soft and pliable. Immy found that line perfectly.

Yeah instead CNN should have interviewed Nawaz Sharif.

It would have gone something like this:

Hala: Mr. Nawaz sharif, US President Donald Trump has said he will block all aid to Pakistan

NS: Ah yes.... ummm... ahhh.... yeah the Donald he good man... he my friend... ahhhh... sorry the question dobara please.. ahhhhh mughay kyun nikala

There is many things i disagree with Imran Khan but in this interview, somebody needed to speak on this topic and i am glad Imran Khan was the man enough to address on this topic world-wide.

Pakistan has been unconditionally supportive of USA on war on terror since 9/11. Pakistan paid heavy price but it was worth it at the end. However, USA has failed its job in Afghanistan on the other end while real criminal aka India that funded terrorism and trained in Afghanistan right under their noses got away from the radar of USA thanks to Trump.

Right now, it is 2017 with the strategically game changing and everyone is leaving USA while bigger players like Russia, China, Turkey, and Iran are on board with Pakistan. The only loser is India which is only being used as scapegoat to keep Pakistan on edge which might be pointless exercise given Indian efforts to isolate Pakistan economically failed miserably while its Indian Americans are being victim of White-Nazi-Supremacy group regularly in USA soil.

USA is getting desperate so it is looking for scapegoat to blame on. This policy is not going to work out anymore since the whole world is caught up with USA's deception policy, and on the top of it, it is Donald Trump with the reputation of unreliable and irresponsible man-child. So it is not easy to convince the whole world with Donald Trump as helm that speaks illogical language that can only cater to the misguided community that boils down to the Nazi mindset.

Those who are saying he didnt said this n he said that so hold your horses it wasnt 1 hour interview it was just 3 min talk n he had to give his prospective in a short time n no one could do better than what he did in 3 mins

The new country grouping is not BRICS or MINT, or whatever. It is CRIPT (China, Russia, Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey). The will indeed be a crypt for the Evil Empire.

I agree and actually think there will be more countries in it like CAS and Belarus and maybe even North Korea.
