Gawadar is CPEC specific . That giant is not going anywhere. But, actually Pakistan has fast and better land route with Iran, roads and railway track. So, investment in Iranian port make no sense , but who knows govt always find something interesting.
For India, it is still be a expensive route. PN and China won't like Indian ship to come close to Gawadar port or even 70 mile radius.

Give a try of blocking access 70 or 50 miles than you will know the point of signing logistics arrangements with US

But, India eventually need US permission to be part of this project. Sanctions are still active. Plus, it will be big headache for Iran, if Iran gave any major role in this port. Because, any terrorist act against Chinese installation in Pakistan will jeopardize its relation with China. Gawadar is leased to China, means for next few decades its Chinese point of national security. Any major or minor attack on any Chinese trade convoy will be security issue. Indian interference in Baluchistan is already exposed.
In today's press conference Islamabad by Iran govt official, seems worried Indian role in Baluchistan. He condemn spy fiasco without mentioning Indian name. " Iranian govt will not allow any country to use its soil against Pakistan".

CPEC operational in full swing means hundreds and billions will further come to join the initial roughly 50 billion dollars investment by China...

average iranian has nothing against pak, if they appear friendlier to indians and a couple of sikhs own exotic restaurants in tehran , it's because 1- india is not iran's immediate neighbor , and 2- the revolutionary rhetoric of 80's iran that is squeezing iran out of the entire islamic realm these days , pak is as much involved as turkey , that's why you are such dear friends in the first place

If China and Pakistan take the bait, then it'll simply show that they are loosing confidence in Gwadar. These two ports, no matter what the politicians try to portray, will be competing against each other, after all.
India, irrespective of Chinese/Pakistani involvement in Chabahar, takes the lead by $500 million investment and possible oil-field block deals, oil-pipeline deals.

it sure wont be cheap but expensive .... naah as owr goal is to reach central asia and russia for which we have to make a very large trip from arabian see to suez canal to spain to UK from there after passing all the scandinavian countries to russia finally here we could do that by simply sending-bringing merchandise to chahbahar and from there to central asia and russia wia road or train link now tell me will it be expensive for us in the long run ?
