They will apply immense pressure. I know how Americans work. I deal with them a lot.

But eventually it will be self interest. And they are the first ones back to the table.

If anything, India can pull Iran out of the cold. And probably will.

Wow, what a brilliant piece of work. I am all for this Chabahar route and India spending billions of dollars on it, keep thinking Iran in isolation from already developed trade routes with neighbouring Pakistan.

Also Keep neglecting Iran-Pakistan willingness to work together due to their location on the map and so the on going dialogue on CPEC partnerships.

Win win for Pakistan since it is such a bright idea in the first place.

India should market this route and investment opportunity to the world to bypass Pakistan based on animosity rather than economic sense and India should keep spending more and more on this route .

Even if you agree with India's route bypassing Pakistan based on animosity, the sheer economics of it works in both Pakistan's and Iran's favour simply on merit. Whoever in the world hears about Chabahar shall definitely ignore Gawadar, after all, it's only heading to China and noting to do with OBOR.

Chahbahar will be Suez canal for India to link with central Asia,Iran,Russia directly.We can get a gas/oil/mineral pipeline from these nations.
