Again it comes to the finance --i don't see any major buying in the next 3 to 4 years... payments will be due for the navy ships, subs and attack helicopters from 2020 on wards

With only a couple of billion $s in the treasury, how Pak manages all these things is beyond me...

Where there is a will, there is always a way.
When intentions are right, it's not the finances that matter, its the providence from the heavens that multiplies what you already have.
(What we refer to as "barkat" in the money, little can become a lot and a lot can become little, just like our neighbors "waste" billions to get the same thing)

New one, indigenous to PAK, also modernisation of old and more Chinese systems. Will be one of the fastest growing parts of Mil.

1. Pakistan Air force and Navy showing interest and given programme presentation on CH-7 Stealth UAV. Likely 1st overseas customer.

2. Also another Stealth drone from China and a indigenous Stealth drone being looked at. (will be used SEAD and hit targets in India).

3. New UUV program started.

4. Viper IFV going through trials. Will be manufactured in large numbers depending on finances.

5. China again offered Z-10ME as having adopted all PA upgrades. They have offered at very good package. New trails going to take place shortly.

6. Nuclear sub project still on. Nuff said. NSFC doing us proud.

7. MIRV is going from strength to strength.

8. Should be hearing good news regarding mini subs in the next few years. If everything goes to plan.

Next 5 years are important for our country. Let's see whether the new Govt. is capable of what they have promised in the pre-election campaign. If they succeed to eradicate the corruption from top to grass root level, reduce govt admin expenses ( Ministers ki ayashiyan), Small businesses loans to young and educated entrepreneurs, Focus on education and bring tech revolution in agriculture and farming (via Agriculture base products and Halal meet market we can squeeze billions of dollars with some little efforts as we already have basic/moderate structure available) will increase exports, secure jobs for Pak manpower inside and outside the country, improve foreign remittances.

Pakistaniyo - Take note. Look at what we need to do to help our nation achieve it's potential. We need to bankroll it. We need to all generate wealth and give our fair share back to the state as tax.

In the past many deals have been knocked off track due to finances, for example J-10 during Zardari era.

One last thing need updates, what about Al-Khalid-I, Al-Khalid-II and Al-Haider MBTs?

All three on track, AK1 being manufactured at a steady pace.
AK2 kit and teck being finally tuned up for production stage.
Haider will be VT4 as per indications though final decision pending. Also depending on finances.

You have no sense of humor. Obviously not if we had them we would be flying them.

But Pakistan will have to buy J-10C because we have no other option left now. It is necessary for us.


USA is not going to sell us anything until we end cpec and declare war on China and that is something we cannot do. Buying anything from Russia is risky because we have trust problems as Russia and Pakistan are just getting acquainted with each other. Twin engine is expensive like hell to operate so what else are the option? J-10C is the only jet that bridges are mid term gap and gives us enough missiles in air to punch a hole in indian defences. Previously mirage was doing the job for us but they need to be retired now it has been too long for those lovely birds defending or skies. Jf-17 is deadly but we need more ammo in air to punch into india and make Delhi cry. We need something to fire those beautiful cruise missiles from air and only J10c can carry so many in air. We need it. We buy it today we buy it tomorrow we buy it after a year but we will buy it. No matter how many 5th gen we make still a load delivery system is needed by Pakistan.

then why not make an Azm bomber version/tactical bomber version which i low flying radar evading terrain hugging version besides stealth in future?

There were 1000 or so t59 and some 69s out of which 600 or so upgraded to alZarar and some given to fc assuming 100-200, rest perhaps in reserves
T85 about 300, ak about 400-600 and 300 or so t80
