Census Helps Arrest of Indian Living in Karachi

KARACHI: An Indian citizen residing in Karachi for the last 27 years was arrested on Saturday during the process of ongoing census in the megapolis, ARY News reported.

Riaz Islam Ansari has been illegally living in Karachi for 27 years. A case has been lodged against the suspect and owner of the house who accommodated him,” said Superintendent Police Baldia Town.

During the ongoing census process, the suspect was asked to show his documents which he could not provide. Then, he was interrogated which revealed that he was an Indian citizen.

House listing has already been completed under the first phase of 6th census across Pakistan. While, head-count began on Saturday in 63 districts countrywide.

These include 16 districts in Punjab, eight in Sindh, 14 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15 in Balochistan and five each in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

The exercise will continue for ten days. Counting of homeless people will begin on 28th of this month.

Because you can't become citizen by living certain years in Pakistan. He had option to get forged CNIC like many others but not now.

my own relieves are suffering now in Karachi. my uncle had CNIC in 2015. but as CNIC expired then NADRA didn't issue the new CNIC to my uncle. and his whole family is now suffering.
parents of my uncle and his siblings migrated from india in 1963 to pakistan. and within one year my uncle parents died in an accident. he does not has any proof of his parents neither he has Old CNIC of his parents nor dead certificate of his parents. he was born in 1958 therefore he truly mentioned his birth in india in NADRA form without knowing that his entire family have to suffer from ignorance of Govt. he was a retire govt employee and he submitted all his document but nothing happen yet. now he keeps on going to main office of NADRA at Awami markaz and police station. my uncle daughter is my fiance. she has completed her school/collage/university in karachi but NADRA is also not issuing her CNIC now. she is also not getting any job and passport.

You cant be citizen in any country by living forever any one who make fake ID card can be caught.
There is proper way to submit applicating to become citizen not by living underground.

Not in Pakistan unless you are women married to Pakistani men. In all other cases your only option is fake ID card.

This isn't true, only Modi Cow government started granting to few thousands hindus. Anyway even if every Pakistani hindu moved to India it will be like drop in the ocean. Bangladesh doesn't even take back their own Bengalis.

2015 is when Nadra started to get serious about whole CNIC verification. My distant relative CNIC was blocked because in their family tree some Afghani was added. But your fiance case look more complicated.
