ISLAMABAD : A man in Abbottabad died after he mistakenly shot himself in the head during celebratory gunfire before a wedding ceremony.

At least 12 injured by aerial firing on New Year’s Eve in Karachi

The victim was shifted to Ayub Teaching Hospital but succumbed to his injury.

In the video, the individual can be seen clearing an apparent jam and then trying to cock his weapon, while holding it between his legs. It is then that the firearm goes off.

On New Year’s Eve, at least 12 people were injured due to aerial firing in different parts of Karachi despite directives from the police to prevent such activities. In Lahore, at least 34 people, including a woman and a child, were injured in aerial firing on the New Year’s Eve.

In 2018, at least 15 people were injured in aerial firing during a wedding ceremony in Faisalabad.

Officials maintained that as a result of heavy firing, 15 guests, including children, suffered bullet injuries.

This is why it's banned in Turkey even though in rural areas people still celebrate by shooting into the air.

Actually, it's banned in Pakistan, too.

In Pakistan, section 144 of the law is imposed to prevent aerial firing during celebrations if harm is caused, and an FIR may be registered against a person who does so. However, many cases of aerial firing go unreported.[1]

I already watched this on liveleaak .What a bunch of stupid people.First you are using a darra made low quality unreliable weapons and secondly you are trying to make them work when the barrel is right towards your head direction.
Thirdly when the shot was fired it blew his hat means the bullet entered from his lower mouth part and exited through his upper skull part piercing everything in between including the brain.He was obviously dead on spot and even after that some people were saying that get a car and take him to hospital.
Such monkeys should not be allowed to have guns because they make their lives and lives of others in great danger.
And i hope he was not married and not had any kids because stupid people should not be allowed to breed.
