Your estimates are not backed by evidence, even your own. You claim a figure of 30000 to 50000 Bengalis killed, Where as the highly biased Hamudur rehman commission claims only 26000 civilians died(and no mention of rapes) in the entire conflict.

I don't think there is a single date for the subcontinent. Too many countries, too many dates. For Lanka it might be the end of their Civil War. For India, it would be Independence Day, for Nepal when it became a republic.
