ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / Online - 07th May, 2019) Capital Development Authority (CDA) allegedly inducted 122 officers illegally, which caused Rs10 million losses to the national exchequer, sources said on Tuesday.
Despite an inquiry was made by FIA and declared hiring illegal, the CDA management confirmed services of many officers of grade 16, 17 and 18.Many other contractual officers were sacked from their jobs as well.
The sources said that the development authority management sacked those officers who refused to pay money against their confirmation. However, the management put label of poor performance against them.
The sources further said many officers were regularized after they retrieved their cases against the management from the court.
A four-member committee under the head of director general services public a fact finding report on July 25, 2016. The report identified illegal inductions. It also mentioned that the officers were not only hired without provincial quota and advertisement but made selection on the basis of influence.The officers were lacking the required qualification and working experience as well, the report states.
