Why not continuous why wear and not wear? Is it a game or save face in the country issue?

I don't know. You would have to ask them. KSA is a big country. In some regions, cities, families etc. it would be looked down upon if a woman of age did not cover herself up appropriately (in their eyes at least) while in other families they are less strict in that sense. Most still wear a headscarf home and abroad. The vast majority in fact. I am just saying that some, which includes certain princesses, sometimes don't wear it and that's their choice. I don't know if you have met any Saudi Arabian students in the UK but some wear it there and some don't. Just like you have thousands of Muslims in Europe that don't necessarily wear a headscarf or occasionally. Some wear it for years and then decide to stop. Others decide to wear it for the first time in their life when they are grown ups. It's a matter between them and Allah (swt). I am not going to elaborate but the same is the case in my own family.

Anyway honestly speaking then scarfs are the least of my worries in the Muslim world and living in Western Europe where the debate about scarfs or no scarfs often erupts it's getting a bit tiring.

Done it many times when i was a student but only with tea.
The point was that you need to keep going(patience) untill you finish something you started,no quitting or giving up.

Dunno. when you have to read 5-6 different research papers of scientists which all have like 10~20 pages of text and you also need to some experiments based on those research papers. It isin't something which can be done in one sitting because when you look at it after you have slept You will think by yourself, I can't have written this have I, How could I make such a obvious mistake ect

Again the point was not to fold,not to give up,it doesnt matter in which field,it has nothing to do with science,reading research papers or doing experiments.
It is about finishing something!

This is not a princess but a private lady. Nobody forces anyone to wear a headscarf in KSA. In certain regions of the country and in the enormous countryside some don't even wear it. It's a personal choice but the vast, vast majority wear it due to religion and tradition.

The princesses or Saudi Arabian ladies who don't wear a scarf is something they have chosen themselves. Some don't wear a scarf abroad either.

In public princesses wear a headscarf too in KSA.

Headscarfs might first be attested in the Arab world/ME like so much else but headscarfs have been worn by dozens of peoples throughout history so calling a headscarf an "Arab" invention is wrong IMO.

Heardscarfs are actually talked about in all 3 Abrahamic religions.

But it is a part of Arab Culture and not a part of Islam; Islam only talks about modesty and leaves it to the individual to define it as per their own understanding and level of comfort.

But it is a part of Arab Culture and not a part of Islam; Islam only talks about modesty and leaves it to the individual to define it as per their own understanding and level of comfort.

I just meant that headscarfs are not an "Arab thing" solely as many peoples throughout the world have worn or do wear headscarfs of various kind. Just look how Christians have traditionally displayed Miriam or the Mother of Jesus as they say.

Well before Islam Arabs were Jews, Christians, Pagans (believed in ancient Semitic religions) or were Hanifs. Arab women were also rulers back then and Queen of Sheba (oldest attested queen or one of the oldest) comes to mind. I don't think that they wore any headscarfs other than clothing of that era.

I must admit that I have not studied the history of headscarfs all I know with relative certainty is that the first attested sign of a headscarf being worn by women was found in what is now Iraq today.

But we can't deny that most Muslims across the world and also since the appearance of Islam have interpreted modesty in terms of appearance/clothing. You should take such discussions with a scholar. I mean they probably know the history of headscarfs much better than I do and how that verse in the Qur'an has historically been interpreted.

All I know is that headscarfs are yet to kill anyone.
