Large size is a disadvantage as it has bigger radar signal. Smaller drones can sneak through undetected and reach the targets.

It is not designed for sneak attacks. J-6 is used for both actual attack on Taiwan land/US bases targets and consuming Taiwan/US bases air defense missiles as it's cheaper than patriot missile

It's radar signal is similar to J-10s and J-16s that it will be providing cover for. They will lure enemy to turn on radar so j-16s in the area can lock on and fire off anti-radiation missiles in SEAD role.
