The Royal Navy’s largest deployment in more than a decade is to begin next week, taking in more than 40 countries and lasting more than six months. 🌏

The Carrier Strike Group, led by HMS Queen Elizabeth, will include American and Dutch ships, and will also carry British and US F-35 fighter jets. ✈

As James Hirst reports, Asia will be the focus of its travels.

Greater than or equal to a US Carrier strike group.

this carrier puts the Royal back into the Royal Navy

it will cover over 26,000 miles and 28 weeks

its done more sea miles and days at sea by end of 2021 than CV-16 + CV-17 combined over last 10 years

this is why UK can send its carrier anywhere in the World anytime

best part is they have 2 of them

This deployment is one of the most anticipated deployments since decades

UK has regained its position as a world front line power

The British Navy sent half of its warships to East Asia to intimidate China. As a Chinese, I am very scared.

this photo has already been proved to be fake
You are correct, there are more Chinese warships than shown in the photo

The most overrated, third class, country still living in its old pageantry and yester year glory. They barely made it out of the Falklands with a win thanks to Uncle Sam. What a complete waste of time, and money, and speaks of the demented nature of these people. I would love to see Asian countries send massive naval armadas passing through the channel and then park in St. Petersburg. Watch their pants go in a bunch. So rich coming from this evil colonial empire, that forced Hong Kong from the Chinese. No wonder Chinese despise the Western bloc. People need to read history of what the British did with the Chinese, (not to mention my people of the sub-continent) and you'll get sick to your stomach.

a warship without a helicopter and air cover is worthless

and all of the Chinese warships have single hanger apart from Type 055

Chinas ASW is far behind its rivals let alone AEGIS and BMD
Then why put JF-17 as your avatar? You love KLJ-7A radar by Chinese becos its very advanced and on same par as APG-81, right? :enjoy:

British trying to show to the world what it was 100 years ago, haha. All the ships are borrowed from other countries. A Chinese DF 21 or DF 26 will send UK's sole carrier to oceans depth in one salvo.
