In fact it was last ditch effort of House of Sharifs to make Saudis happy after their commitment of troops faced severe opposition within Parliament and general public. They could have refused his NOC but how someone can back out from their very own offer.

No one is talking of military rule! What's with some who are obsessed with Martial Law.

This is National Government discussion and change of system with new constitution. Finland changed their constitution not long ago, and we will too in very near future. It's got nothing to do with military takeovers.

He is retired now. So he is a civilian so should be fine. But you have to agree any steps to clean the system should be welcomed
