Why they were using AK, i mean they have enough funding to get M4 or SCAR L?

They were carrying AGL with 40mm High Explosive grenade, couldn't even fire that one off, what good an M4 would do...
Plus it;s culture, these people grow up holding SVD & AK, so more familiar with it instead of AR

The tactics matter but AR is more precise than AK, can give better recoil management, A red dot or dual scope can be attached on it, A gernade lancher can also be attached on AR
HK-416.

And 5.56 has more tactical advantage over 7.62.... I mean injured persons can cause more trouble then dead one in such hostile situations.

Delta Force and Navy Seals both use AR in their missions.

Worldwide, Rent-a-Cars are the easiest mode of Transport when intending on committing a crime. Stealing a car draws too much unwanted attention on the streets.

as per CCTV footage attackers were at the gate @ 10:03, lets make it 10:00 for ease of understanding. At 9:30, our attackers shoots off a tweet via mobile:

30 minutes before before you launch an attack you would be reviewing the operational plans or you would be sitting on your phone tweeting about your self sacrificing mission...
Mind it at this point a small mistake can jeopardize the mission, if he sent off the tweet like this means he was in comfortable zone & not under stress / duress....

So where-ever they came from, answer lies in these 30 minutes


Lets say they came from Korangi, below are the possible routes....the only feasible route & the shortest one is through Clifton, second route is through Cant area. Last thing you need is getting stopped at the Police / Ranger pickets with your vehicle laden with explosives, SO big no to the route that passes through clifton or Cantt :

You know if we take this into the account that they are coming from a different part they can easily take Liyari highway , it reduce the time by half to reach the Stock exchange, I once took a Uber from my home to all the way to I I Chandigar road, and It just took 20 mins more or less.

that car we see in clip of drama seems to be parked, we have no further context, i mean if someone can find the clip it would be more help , was the car already parked there ? or it came later ? etc
Secondly something that is a bit worrying about the more educated class of our society , so honestly I wont be surprised if their handlers are some White posh people from PECHS living in a lavish house .

Depends on time of day too. II Chundigar is blocked solid during evening but light in the afternoon.
