Dostum is a bad person, he has committed horrible crimes, but this specific allegation doesnt seem to be true. At least I havent heard it and seen it with my own eyes myself.

complete destruction of cities and villages and masacaring the innocent people doesnt seem a crime to you? this is what the taliban used to do and still are doing.

It was horrible before Taliban time, it was horrible during Taliban time and it is still horrible. Its Afghanistan with very little litteracy rate, what do u expect. The society on the whole is responsible for situation of women.

As far as law and order is concerned, well it was better than the post-soviet pre-taliban time. and elections, yes there was no democracy. Does having no democracy means it is terrorism? you can call it dictatorship.

Taliban is just a name given to all those people who are opposing Foreign Invasion by force.

taliban are those who are supported by the foreigners to destroy afghanistan.


My point is that it is not wise to compare TTP and Taliban of Afghanistan. You have right to disagree. But the thing is Afghan Taliban are great in numbers ( because normal people are with them until USA is there) and TTP are small in numbers.

From a pakistani point of view yes, we shouldnt compare ttp and afghanistan's taliban. but from an afghan POV it is different. TTP kills and destroys your country and Afghani Taliban destroys and kill afghans. Dont forget that TTP has a strong support in trigal areas.

No he didnt give me the answer. Tell me who else is fighting for power? And also, I never said that the Taliban are alone for messing up Afghanistan, but right now they are the only ones who are destroying afghanistan.

hey indian get your head out of your ***. You ever been to FATA? I'm from the region. Many tribesmen carry weapons as it is old tradition. Just because people are armed doesn't mean they are pro taleban. In fact, most people are very pro army and not anti state. They are armed simply to defend themselves. Don't just get loose with your mouth and keyboard without learning the facts first. Its a very bad habit you hindoostanys suffer from.

These westernized taliban really pisses me off... seriously i wonder what the Taliban will do to Imran who has a bastard child and was known to be a playboy during is youth.(zena kaar) Is he telling us that he wants Taliban for afghans and tribal but not for himself? What a hypocrite. I don’t think these kind of Monafeqeen could live a week under Taliban rule where woman are imprisoned, schools are banned, music is banned and people are lashed for having short beard.

Situation will be fine for Pakistan only...that too for short term...it will be hell for pashtons and Afghans...taliban will impose their well..the imposed "civil war" will start again...more afghan refugees come to Pakistan, Iran and central Asia. In long run taliban will be running most of FATA and NWFP...do you think Taliban will forget and forgive how the drone attack against them were carried from pakistan...how their gov were toppled with pakistan gov help...how their ambassador against all diplomatic norm were handed over to US? How more then 90% of US weapon and logastic comes from pakistani port?
There is a saying in Sanskrit “God safe from attack of Cobra and vengeance of Pashton.” Worst if the nationalist Pashton penetrate Taliban region they will simply will demand a Pashtonistan.

No, as long as there is fight and war the situation will remain bad for afghanistan and will get worse. Afghanistan has been under direct or indirect control of foreigners for the last 3 decades, so the presence of americans is just a continuation of what it was before, why should influence of America be bad compare to the influence of pakistan or anybody else? they are all foreigners. If there is no war, there is no death, no destruction, no insecurity, there will be every chance of progress and nationa building. And yes, in present time it is the taliban who are responsible, if they quit fighting there will be peace.

They won't. This is Afghanistan. You should know the history of Afghans. They always fight.
When US shall leave, I am sure that there will be minimal interference from Pakistan etc this time.

That is amazing, and you tell me to study the history of Afghanistan. As long as there are mad dogs and puppets like Mullah Omar there is every chance of fight, but otherwise no. When the US leaves there will be maximum interferece by pakistan, it has been proven before. Azmoda Ra Azmodan Khatast.
