'Can't post link' message

I keep getting the 'Can't Post Link...' message even when I'm not trying to post a link. I'm just trying to post a regular post. What's up with that ?

No. Just trying to post a regular post without any link at all. Some threads let me post and some give me the message.

keep trying and you will find out whats wrong..this is a simple to use forum...needs some fannying around...

Sometimes members are not posting a link but they are quoting a post that contains a link... either way there is a link in your post and that will not allow you to post unless you remove that link from the quoted post

Once you have 5 posts you should be able to post the links and you now already qualify for that criteria
