Can you travel to Pakistan with expired NICOP?

No need for a visa.. just apply for nicop, and take the slip with you together with your expired nicop.

When Pakistani cnic is expired we don't cease to be a Pakistani citizen. Its expiry doesn't mean that your pakistani nationality has also expired.

But renewing and taking a slip with you will give you extra confidence at the airport.

Guys i conformed with the Pakistani Consulate in NY today that you are not allowed to board the plane with expired NICOP at JFK. Plus i was late when i got to the Consulate for the Visa processing and they were not accepting anymore applications cuz i had to drive for hours just to get there but this amazing girl from Pak at the front desk helped me out with the process, she was just amazing. Thank you all for the advice.
