I don't think facebook is going to delete his account

but still OK for me... continue reporting guyz

. .
I find it ironic that on one hand we advocate freedom of speech, and repulsion of blasphemy law on that account, but on the other hand get sensitive if a guy has a picture of an alleged murderer as his display pic. Isn't he just exercising his freedom of speech? He is not hurting anybody, is he?

While we are at it, why is support of terrorism off limits on this forum? Isn't that against the very essence of freedom of speech? Isn't the logic which is so vehemently put forward against the blasphemy law is that let anybody say whatever they want, who is asking you to pay any heed to it or take it seriously?

Vilifying a religion or its respected figures won't make it the truth, so let people do it.Why can't all these logics be applied to terrorism as well?

Pakistan is stuck between religious extremists and liberal fascists, and the one is not better than the other. They are all hypocrites and their hypocrisy just disgusts me to my very soul.

sometimes it life it doesnt hurt to be a bit sensitive......regardless of whether you liked Mr. Taseer or not, regardless of political or religious affiliation ---

THE MAN IS DEAD!!! And then you see people glorifying the killer.

It shows not just bad taste. It shows sympathy and admiration for a terrorist. And that is unacceptable.

there should be no debate regarding whether Mr. Qadri was a terrorist or not.

While we are at it, why is support of terrorism off limits on this forum?

because terrorism has claimed the lives of over 3000 Pakistanis alone

that is why

Isn't that against the very essence of freedom of speech?

a fine line must be drawn

Isn't the logic which is so vehemently put forward against the blasphemy law is that let anybody say whatever they want, who is asking you to pay any heed to it or take it seriously?

it has to be taken seriously because these people dont just talk.....seems they can incite enough hatred to cause people to actually carry out their actions

that is a problem

Vilifying a religion or its respected figures won't make it the truth, so let people do it.Why can't all these logics be applied to terrorism as well?

because we dont want to be a banana republic where terrorism is glorified by ANY section or echelon of society

who is doing the killing, bombings and shootings

is it liberal fascists or 'religious' extremists?

looking forward to your feedback

honestly it was sick. how could they glorify a killer, cant understand it.

@Abu Zolfiqar.....What do you think, how can we change the people?
The way they are heroing the excecuter?

They are illetrate, and are following what has been in the olden ages. They are like a 56 kbps Internet connection when you can have upto 20 mbps. I hope you get what I mean to say, we need to update these people's action, they must be told that they are living in 21st century. They must differ between good and bad, not following traditions.

As the government will do little to step over it (LINK), we need a NGO, strong one, rising awarnes between them! We cant wait for a 25th hour to come, and things to change over night! First step is the hardest, what do you recommend about it?

.
well i'll tell you what

after yesterday, the best way to say f*ck you to those who glorify terrorists and want to keep our minority groups feel insecure would be to repeal the blasphemy law

but we have a situation where we have a coward government that is scared to do anything.....they have their vision and ideals but not willing to die or fight for them. We see it when they dont even go to S. Waziristan to visit civilians or troops; we see it when they are scared (after seeing their friend/associate get killed) of carrying out to do what they say they believed in

a coward dies a thousand deaths

a soldier dies but once

best way forward is to elect a govt. with people who are genuine and stand firm by what they believe in -- a characteristic which Quaid e Azam placed huge emphasis on for future leaders of the country

...
can't believe some low-life losers are actually hailing this lizard-eater a ''hero''

How do know he's a lizard-eater, or are you making-up their dietary habits?

I can't understand too how you're judging other people low-life losers? Maybe the governor should've been killed, maybe so should yourself and myself.

Maybe causing anarchy by taking out important govt figures is the new best thing, I don't know!
