I'm not sharing my personal opinion, just the opinion of the locals I've come across both in Istanbul and Ankara. Erdogan's been in power for more than 15 years, its obvious he's admired throughout the masses for his pro-islam stance. I've heard cab drivers and blue-collar workers refer to Ataturk as the zionist agent responsible for alienating the Turkish Identity. Maybe the minority is still fantasizing about Ataturk but majority seems to be inclined towards Erdogan for all their "Savior of Turkey" needs...

They so hates ERDOGAN as like Pkk and FETO terorist organization members
even they dont give a sht to ATATURK , they are attacking Turkish people and ISLAM under the mask of Kemalizm

but Turkish people never forget ATATURK ,
Turks fought and beat british,french,greeks, armenians led by ATATURK
ATATURK was founder of the Republic Turkey
and Turks are again fighting against the US,the UK,France,Israel led by ERDOGAN

not only most of Turkish people but also hundreds of millions of muslims in the world so love ERDOGAN
