What's new

Can the United States take Hussain Haqqani seriously?

I think once the initial state of flux has settled down, things will be back to normal as far as American foreign policy is concerned. Trump will soon realize that being President involves more than tweeting and will have to start listening to the intelligence and security establishment.

I don't think that India and Pakistan are placed any different today than they were before the new administration. But I guess closer Indo-US ties do seem to be taking an inevitable, glacial nature, and the reason being China.

Let us hope so.

Sorry bro. The international community does not listen to anyone unless one has some credentials.

Now sending buffoons like Dr. Saazish Masood and Arif Hameed Bhatti against Haqqani will never work. This DESI-STYLE RANTING is only popular in our country full of "Shukriya Raheel Shareef" bots and "We Know Better" crew.
and what credentials does he have to begin with? talking about bots your lavatory id activated to defend the honor of bastard haqqani. how strange!

International community listens to trolls. Trolls made Trump win the election.:omghaha: Bro you are underestimating the power of trolls.

oh so that includes you as well. so tell me what are his credentials of this glorified munjan sellar?
A faculty position in Boston University is more than enough apart from from his other positions he has held. You will never reach near that in a million years.

And yes I am nowhere near his credentials. Things may slightly get better after my PhD that I am pursuing in a British University. But even then, obtaining a faculty position in Western Universities is no joke and is considered a prestige.

I don't care as we have bunch of traitors
( labeled? ) like Fatima Jinnah Prevaiz Mushraff SO this word has no meaning in Pakistani dictionary.

I think that's a fact that nobody on PDF who has never been to the west would even comprehend. I posted some time back about how it's easier to become a partner at Goldman Sachs than get tenure at a big western university. Unfortunately education being the last choice in our countries makes people believe the same is true in the west. Like you I'm barely certain I can get a post-doc position despite having a nice univ to back me. For Haqqani to get a professorial position with just his U Karachi degree is remarkable and says a lot about his intellect.

The irony is that these chaps on PDF spewing venom at Haqqani (And his wife) had no hang ups with him before he resigned. Then he was a role model, intelligent, charismatic and a superstar. Now the same people will call him unqualified, a stooge, etc. Hilarious.

My PhD is in Finance (specifically research in stock markets) so Goldman Sachs (or similar) is also on the cards. ;) My University is one of the Russell group of elite universities in the UK so my fingers are crossed.

And yes Haqqani didn't even need a PhD; this shows how good his research and grip on the subject would have been.

Fatima Jinnah was a traitor??
Was labeled isn't?

Sir I used word ( labled? ) and there were interesting thread on it by @secure.

My concern is only the word traitor he or she or them used much in our history and it's lost its meaning.

Don't worry Kardeshim. All the folks are being taken care off from Gayip. See the recent developments..
Erdogan was here in Pakistan on ECO summit and the forces here arrested a German national in the area which was restricted. There was a thread made on it on PDF and people started calling it that he was just a hippy arrested but as Erdogan returned home he accused Germany of harboring terrorists and his statement made me understand the coordination and info sharing is getting larger and larger between all allies.

Time for boot leakers is gone. The West is in retreat - even Henry Kissinger is remaking his plans. Reis Erdo'an has given this reply to Chancelor Merkel, who has made it a habit to pick up fights with Turkey as if she is quarreling with her mother-in-law, "Why are you so edgy and tipsy? We have just started."
