Can serving soldier apply for 2nd lieutenant ?

Hi everyone, I have some query about joining PA as 2nd Lieutenant..

can an active serving soldier apply for 2nd Lieutenant??

Is his age will be an issue if he is higher than 25 or he can get some leniency for his service in Army??

Yes serving soldiers can apply for PMA long course.
When i applied in year 2009 PMA LC 124 i saw many of them.
Commanding officer ARSC Rawalpindi Lt Col Bilal was inducted as a soldier after 2 years he applied for commision and selected.
Be informed serving soldiers with better education background preferred to be inducted as a commisioned officer.

min. education is inter and they have 10% relaxation in marks i.e 50%.age limit is 25.there are other courses too in which age limit is 28 years but for that i think bachelors is necessary.

yes just like the rest of the public
full-fill the application criteria and that is that. there might be a little bit of relaxation due to being already a part of armed forces but not much. everyone goes through the same strict selection procedure.
