Can PTI be Finished?

The political party can be undone but the political consciousness it has raised will be much harder to defang. Many people are comparing Khan to Bhutto and consider their fates to be similar. Both took on the GHQ and came out of it losing personally.

This time however the establishment might also come out losing. People forget that Bhutto was hanged in the same year the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan began. The Americans/Saudis poured billions into Pakistan, which indirectly allowed Zia to legitimise his rule via patronage. This time around no such external benefactors exist. Pakistan does not possess a strategic location anymore in the same way. The Chinese won't be doing what the US did in the 1980s. Further an exceptional brain drain, exploding population growth and collapsing economy all paint a bleak economic future. Munir and his successors simply do not possess the same tools that Zia did once he contained Bhutto. Only a war can help galvanize their cause and reputation. That also is an unlikely proposition.

The overwhelming majority is on PTI’s side.
Majority doesn't matter. All matter is Boot and who kisses it!

Well, PTI is the 21st Century PPP.

It can't be finished 'cause it's an ideological cult of personality, not much unlike Neo-Nazism or Trumpism.

Imran Khan will die a martyr, that much is certain. And while the ideology will remain alive akin to "زندہ ہے بھٹو", the party will simply shatter and dissolve into small pockets of mini-PTIs, each claiming to carry the true essence of the 'supreme leader.'

It's already begun:

Unless, of course, Imran Khan's sons take the helm from the ol' pops and kick-start yet another nepotistic political dynasty!

The so called 'youth' will blindly follow the 'pure bloods,' heh!

, they say that PMLN and PPP faced crackdowns in the past but they didn't leave their respective parties. Which alternative reality did the PMLQ and PPP Patriots exist in then? They also complain that establishment broke our people away and gave them to PTI before 2018.

Imran Khan's life is absolutely not in danger. Because Imran Khan is an anti-American person, a person who compromises with religious conservative forces, and a person who is pro-Taliban. He still has many supporters in the Pakistani military. It is impossible for such a person to live in Pakistan. dangerous. In pakistan only those secular, westernized parties are life threatening like PPP and ANP

its now idea of civili supermacy . its now motive to send back army in barracks . its now dream to crush ISI internal wings . its now target to have pm with full powers. its not gonna finish even imran khan die .
Jung kadi jitiya nahin...election kadi hariya nahin

Come on man. See 2 years prior posts of all these old members who were abusing gettinf banned to defend whatever Military does and blindly trusted them.
And now look around this forum.
What are you talking about.
PTI is just a beginning not an end. Establishment is dying. Public hate them to guts. One after the other, only popular leader will be the one who stand against them.

These Clowns are abducting these innocent politicians who have no militancy power or aspiration and thinking themselves smart.
They are filling people with Hatered and despise.

Even if they neutralise khan.
It will be interesting to see who will come after Imran khan to steer Public sentiments.
What if they get someone of Altaf Hussain Mentality?. Public sentiments are already there. They will not find a place to hide. This Country is Fuc**** 240 Million people. You cant subdue them all with force.
Duffers.
