Can Pakistan’s infrastructure spending spree help win the economic marathon?

Yeah absolute BS, you are believing what the media feeds you.

you just contradicted yourself, if it was all about Islam that according to you pakistan based its national identity on then we would have sided with the afghans instead of USA back in 2001.
Firstly, Every information all of us have comes from media, be it written spoken or through other means. That is the very definition of Media. Unless god, if there is one, came to you, you too have your information from media.

Secondly, irrespective of the sides you took, afghan problem would have been less severe as radicalisation of pakistan border areas and support for afghans would have diminished.

Depends how far apart your 20 villages are, and how avialable transport is. My cousins used to walk an hour to get to school every day, thier children are glad they can get to school in 15 minutes. Of course had public transport been available my cousins could have gotten to school in 15 minutes too and there wouldn't have been a need to build a new school.

My father's village had dirt roads untill 80s, there were only two buses going to tehsil town, one in the morning and one coming back late at night..he used to take the Bus at 6AM to go to high school in Tehsil town and came back home at 11pm. a 15 KM back breaking journy would take 2.5 hours one way. now that village is connected to every city by road and 1.5 hour drive to Pindi by Motorway...they have few PHD students who travel to Islamabad on daily basis, There are shops restaurants and pizza and burger shops in the village, can buy every kind of medicine..15 min to hospital, the village is thriving and people who left village for work are coming back to setup businesses there, builders are starting private housing schemes because people are coming back with money to spend...its a world in itself now.
