Either the UK hosts it again - given it is the centre of the common wealth - or it is abandoned permanently - as the number of countries that can host it within the common wealth is actually quite small. Most of the infrastructure from the 2022 games is still in place in the UK - there was very little "new builds" other than the swimming pools and bit and pieces etc.
