Both cities are beautiful...one can not be compared to another...

Islamabad is a small hill station nothing else.
Even it fall flat all of your mentioned measure against Chandigarh.
Lahore-Delhi is like twin soul

Islamabad is a very beautiful city but its merely for elites but Lahore, Karachi, Delhi or Mumbai is for everyone.

After asking the question "Any truth that India is a dirty country?" and "Is India a beautiful country." in my previous 2 threads, thanks to everyone who replied to my last two threads and you can keep replying to them.

The next question is "Can Pakistan develop like India?" I don't want any trolling but just honest answer's from everyone. We all know that Pakistan is a country based on religion, they have lost all 4 wars with India, they have poverty, health issues, education issues, the way they treat women is a disgrace. But can they change for the better?

Can they put aside their obsession with India and be honest with themselves instead of blaming everyone else? It seems to me as an outsider they like blaming MOSSAD, CIA, RAW etc but they don't like taking a good hard look at themselves.

The conspiracy theories that the citizens of Pakistan seem to believe even if it's outrageous they will believe it, so why can't Pakistan develop like India? India has problems as well, but at least they are trying, why can't Pakistan? What is holding Pakistan back?

New Delhi, Saket, Chandigarh are 100x better than islamabad.

Whether it is Delhi or Bombay or Banglore, Surat shall surpass all of them. Bombay is a big village with miserable life. Delhi is some what better. Surat is the best. Very inexpensive, all felicities (Excet Metro which is coming up), Too many fly overs, 24*7 electricity and water. No poverty No unemployment. Top class law and order. A huge ultra rich down to earth population. People are fond of delicious food and celebration.

Form Where did you get this figure of 0.31 BN usd from? You seem to have no sense or Idea of economics.

Even Surat Has 50 BN USD GDP. 2.5 time higher than what you quoted for Pakistani city. FOrget about Bombay and Banglore. Electricity production of Gujarat is higher than whole Pakistan. Oil refining Capacity of Gujarat is Many times more than that of Whole Pakistan.

Actually when Pakistan separated in 1947, it was a country with immense potential with so much of fertile agriculture land with many river flowing in with strongly build hard working population. It would have emerged as a counry like Singapore. Pakistan's wish (Imparted by its politicians ) to become super Islamic nation and obsession for India and wrong teaching of History along with very bad leadership make the situation worse. Pakistan should leave enmity towards India and establish a robust primary education. Pakistan has a chance to move in right direction.

Your industrial base and strength is very poor ; just a TEXTILE economy

Development basically means INDUSTRIAL development ; TECHNOLOGICAL abilities

The composition of your exports

Development means that you should be able to STAND OUT in at least
a FEW Sectors

Just as India does in IT ; STEEL ; PHARMA ; Automobiles and SPACE

And now in Engineering goods ; petroleum products also we are doing well
