Can Pakistan Close Srinagar Leh Highway?

.
As long as Pakistan continues to dig out characters like these, we are safe in India, even with our incompetent chai-wala in charge. These kids are worse than he is, and that's saying a lot.

To be fair though - we didn't elect keyboard warriors to the PM's office.

Our PM only threatened to wage war on corruption, and even then he seems to have turned into a pacifist.

.
Pakistan is not China. Our best hope is India exploding with in which is more and more likely.

The Srinagar Leh Highway is within PA’s artillery range from Drass to Kargil. The LOC is hot thanks to India and for Pakistan to make this sector really hot should not be a problem. Although direct fire might not be possible but indirect fire using manned or drone spotting can be used to pin point the fire. Maybe time to show our Chinese friends some love.

Dear
Spotting is a problem, but not as big as crest clearance is.

. .
In simple terms....

In mountain valleys, there are very less places to deploy artillery guns.... And then there are even lesser places from where your shells can clear the top of the mountain in front you...... These are the main factors, apart from several other minor but equally important ones.

Unless the Chinese are firing artillery as well which means a protracted war is at hand, it would be stupid to do something like this.

I don't know what the ROEs on the LOC are but it is safe to think no side commits to directly hit a supply line leading to a certain position or ammo depots (doubt there are any which can be directly targeted by field artillery).

... There are other, easier and much more effective means to black that highway apart from Artillery.

Some can be directly targeted.... If I remember correctly, our artillery did blow an ammo dump during Kargil.

. . .
Did we have direct LOS?
.... Not really, even without them..... Actually their near vicinity to LOC makes them a ripe target. Some targets are already registered over the years so you may not even require spotting. Just an order.

But then such things hold good for both sides.

Modi a keyboard warrior? You mean somebody has proof he knows the alphabet? You'd better have concrete proof - PakistanForever's kind of incontrovertible evidence.

We can do anything, any aggressive operation inside India but who will handle multiple fronts? Multiple fronts are a headache for pakistan.

So basically you are saying that the Indians are $hitting bricks because of the possibility of Pakistan closing the highway. A few Durendals on the Leh airport, no supply line to Ladakh. Do you think our planners have not taken into consideration the Indian response? Our approach is Plus One. If you do something to us we will do One Plus to you. Balakot and post Balakot proved it.

Not exactly ... IMO as I said 'neither it is impossible nor easy'.
A good planning, determination and implementation will be needed.
Up to now if our planners were serious they should have devised the plan for befitting response against Indian aggression at Ceasefire Line in Kashmir against civilians.

Pakistan attacks the Srinagar-Leh highway. That would be an act of war.
Exactly not ... that is not an international border, that is Ceasefire Line. India is continually doing it in Kashmir valley and if Pakistan opt for that policy then not to be surprised.
Internationally, it will not be considered as 'Act of War'.

It will be considered an act of war if India considers it an act of war.

You seem to have forgotten your history.
