I am extremely happy that dangal, a hindi movie (chinese version) is doimg extremely well in china...baahubali2 is also going to be released there soon..chinese seem to have been bowled over by indian movies..dangal almost made 100 milion dollars...hope chinese people develop friendly attitude towards indians and put pressure on their govt to cut the relation with countries which survive by exporting terrorists and terrorism.

Through movies india is exporting its culture too.

As far as publci sentiment is concerned, there is neither love nor hate toward India. Unlike its Indian counterpart Chinese media's reporting on India is quite bland. You'll never find screaming, sensentional headlines that one often sees in Indian media. In a nutshell, neither friend nor foe.

For decades, Chinese movie have been popular in India. And Chinese food too. Did Indians develop friendly attitude towards Chinese? Indian media continued to portray China as enemy, declaring their missile as China Killer. In Indian movies, Chinese always cast as enemy/villain. Indian people swamped Chinese sites to attack China, even on matters not concerning India, like SCS.

Whereas, Chinese media and people are generally neutral towards India. China even lifted the quota after Indian industry lobbied hard to sell movies here--China now has the largest no. of cinema screens, it's a lucrative market. I think Indians and their media industry should self-examine.

Indians think that Bollywood is the be all and end all of everything. If aliens ever threaten to invade the planet earth Indians will be convinced that a bollywood movie will convince them to have peace with us. How retarded is that?

Lol Indian media loves TRP, they are just making money out of some insecure fools, Chinese shouldn't get concerned of those, they are like daily soaps.

Again its just a movie for entertainment, you're expecting too much. I like watching hollywood movies & anime doesn't mean I love their culture/religion sh!t.

Bollywood movies need to cut out the singing except the musicals. No singing in drama or action movies. Zero.

Can Bollywood remove singing in none musicals?

I agree I usually skip those stupid songs and I don't watch such movies in theatre either. For past few yrs I've seen movies released without such songs so its good progress for now. I don't mind a single song throughout whole movie if its representing the story but hate dance crap, lovey-dovey sh!t. But those songs make money too so if movie flops at least they can earn some money from this.

If you ask a real chinese and not the pakistanis who use chinese flags in this forum. They really appreciate India and its culture. In shangai they really know more about India and really want to come to India.

I've never watched any Indian movies, Koreans movies and TV shows are big a while ago , Hong Kong and Taiwan movies used to be very popular but not anymore. But Indian movies.. never heard of it.

If you ask average Chines about India they will tell you "阿三“ that' s very bad I never use such derogatory racist terms when referring to Indian people. When asking about Pakistan, the most popular term in China is "巴铁”. Iron brother.

When I talk to Singaporeans they also refer Indian as " 阿三“, so it's not only a Chinese thing, probably in Taiwan and Hong Kong are the same.
