Can India China work together in Afghanistan for regional stability?

No matter what happens India is not a player in afghanistan and wont be ever....Op zarb e azb was a pre planned operation and we were just waiting for right time to commence it. China hadnt pressured pakistan nor china does that. The op was to be commenced once the region was liberated from foreign occupation and so was started in mid june 2014 when americans and its allies started leaving.....that was how it is.

Back on india, now situation is different since Pak-Af co-operation is getting high and relations seem to be going up so now naturally indians will be isolated in the times to come. Indians realistically could had any role there had they shared their border with them and thats not the case.........Money doesnt work everywhere.

Throwing Money like crazy may take u far not to yr destiny.

I don't know all the details, but I dunno. seems like a wasted opportunity.

There were Three Mistakes on USA's part that cause them in Afghanistan.

2. Involving too many Players to the country instead of focusing on few that could Provide more leverage.
3. Dealing with Locals leaders without having any Background Checks.

If USA avoided these three Mistakes then I think USA could have sustained till 2025 at least even more depending on Profits USA started getting.

It's a carrot and stick issue:

Without the Taliban card, Pakistan does not have much of a stick.

Without a stick the carrot (i.e. Chinese money) has no strategic value.

So now Pakistan has a Stick and Chinese have a Carrot and that left India in a dangerous situation here

Good and Bad Taliban strategy was only meant to counter India's Pakistan Encirclement Schemes in Afghanistan and now since its done so now that Stick you mentioned is ready for going towards India

Well India is a Supa Power so why Indian afraid when their Status is put to test against bunch of Guerrilla Fighters?That is going to be good Target Practice for Indian Forces.

I dont think they can Wait or Stopped otherwise you know they start killing so We cant do anything about it so we need you to deal with them on that.

Afghanistan is like a rough diamond. if you can craft it just right you're in for riches.

think if China buys off the Taliban and the government they would see massive returns in the near and far future.

Yup that's what China willl do to get access to the natural resources. India should immediatley counter this by grabbing many mines. I think China has already lcoked copper and lithium mines.

Money works mixed with emotion. India has not been a player for a 1000 yrs in Afghanistn, but it sure looks like it is changing. Afghanis clearly have a good reception of India versus Pakistan. That will work in our favor. We did share a border with Afghanistan by way of Kashmir, an undivided Kashmir. Its ok..... we will figure it out....who knows what may happen in the future.
