everone puts question about india . can india become a superpower or not . i am happy to see that . but when u talk about pakistan . then everybody in western media says next 10-15 years pakistan become a terrorist hub bcz of extremist peoples.think abt urself . u talk abt can india become a super power or not . thats shows ur thinking abt india . bcz u know that india is developing very fast .

i know. to countries that cannot afford or have access to western or russian equipment. contrary to most people, i believe a chinese gun is better than a stick.

india exports a modest amount, from guns to helicopters to military aircraft parts. even USN F18 has some indian made parts

yes,it can...its population being the most important and the most helping factor..

india is gonna be the 3rd largest economy by 2050,though of course we will have a large population to feed,we will have more money,more money means the ability to modernise our armed forces and have an army,navy,air force which small but developed countries can't have..

so we will be a super power but with average hdi and an average income country..we will become developed only by perhaps 2075,definitely not before that..actually,the definition of super power varies from person to person.. for me its about having an enviable economy and military,which india will have without a doubt..

Ok india becomes super power conquers the world every region is part of indianistan is that it? becoming super power is to have responsibilities which clearly no modern super power ever emphasized upon. In modern times super power means attacking, destroying, blaming and winning the blame game, propaganda, invading, sanctioning illegally and the list is large enough..if this is what india wants then you'll have to forget shinning india...any and every nation should gear for economic independence and economic super power rather than military super power that only lets you spend more on military and lesser on economic side..

Just imagine US globally spends $650B+ and unaccounted money on dark projects with trillions of dollars in debt just think is it something good? Spend it on your Nation make them prosperous and see the economic boom magic.

There is a difference, china started its economic boom in 1980s & India started it 20 years later.

Don't forgot that before 2000, Pakistan was better than India in all economic & development parameters. Now look where you stand & where we stand.

I disagree...Partition was one the best thing that happened to India.

On topic: There is only one super power and thats US of A and after ther decline we will move towards a multipolar world bcs IMO no country is capable enough to challenge them for the super power throne.
