a govt will fight a military ,but no govt. is strong enough to see a million citizens get incinerated not US,china,india,pak,russia.

yes china can get defeated if US,INDIA,JAPAN,RUSSIA ATTACK IT SIMULTANEOUSLY. CHINA IS MIGHTY BUT IT CAN NOT FIGHT THIS FOUR MAJOR POWERS SIMULTANEOUSLY.

USA has such cutting edge weapons that china cant even dream of. if USA provides them to India if (as it wants to contain china) , difference between Chinese and Indian might will negligible. then mighty India will defeat china. this way USA will not have to fight china directly.

Anyways yes, China could be beaten. However the difference between us and most other civilizations is that we always get back up after major setbacks. In other words we can be beaten but never defeated.

Although an all out war between China and USA, Japan and others is very unlikely, I like to point out to those fan boys worshipping high tech weapons as the decisive factor in outcome of war.

High tech weapons do not win a war, if that's true US would have wipe out Taliban in 7 days. And Imperial Japan would conquered China in 2 months during world war 2. Vietnam war, Korea war are testimonial to that. And nazi's Tiger tanks, ME-262, V-1, V-2 rockets didn't win them the war.

Also war is not won by casualty statistics. It is the achievement of the objective of war that counts. North Vietnamese paid extreme high price in casualty but they won. Chinese also suffer high casualty but they managed to push Americans back to 38 parallel during Korean war. In all these wars Americans have superior fire power (bombers, navy ships, tanks, artillery), high tech equipment and were well trained yet the opposents have one thing the Americans lacked, high moral and the will to sacrifice themselves for their nations.

Also, which American family is willing to see their sons, daughter, husband or wife send half way around the world to fight a bloody war with China? This unwillingness is already half a war lost.

On the other hand Chinese defending thier homeland would fight a war so vigorous that you will regret to face them in battle front.

I highly doubt Koreans and Japanese would like to get involve, as for the Indians, many want to have revenge on the 1962 war but I also believe majority will not favour if they have seen the bloods and destruction brought upon by the war.

PRC China can only be defeated by one people, that is, Chinese themselves, but right now, PRC government is the government that have given the best deal to her people in the last 150 years in Chinese history.
