Can any one please help me about MBUS/Canada/Europe? A in

if you will be coming on student visa here, than i don't think you can get financial aid from the government. however, there are scholarships that you can apply. look on website "fast web.com" this website has different scholarships and you can apply if you meet the requirements.

Also if you are really good student, depending on college, they will find another way, so you can pay off your college and graduate.

One thing is very true here in US dude. that is if you are really good in study here, than the government, most of colleges will give their best, so you can study.

you can study in college, even if you are undocumented. However, you can only go to community college which is 2 years.

About the cost, i am not sure, so i just don't want to give you imaginary number. However i am sure that it's always much cheaper if you are attending college in the same state where you live.

If I go for MBA from abroad I have to come through student visa. Thanks again for the info.

I can guide you about expenses in Canada as i am myself an International Student, though i am in undergrad. I will just say one thing, living here in the West is extremely expensive considering that you are converting your money from Rs to $. Be prepared for a tough life my friend, you need to forget about the luxuries you have back home of maids and drivers. Also a lot depends on the sort of lifestyle you want to live.

** Mods, this is not a defence forum i am referring him to. An educational site for higher studies in US, which is predominantly Indian and has a smattering of other countries.

Thats quite depressing!!! I have one year experience and GMAT score is 730!!!

Calm Down Buddy, a lot matters how you apply to these schools. One of my older brother's friend is doing his MBA in Harvard, his score at GMAT was 702 and work experience isnt that impressive. I dont know about India but in Lahore i know an Admission Advisor who specifically deals with Foreign Universities. I have seen him work wonders, i am myself an example of that. I was blacklisted in my A Levels but managed to get into one of Canada's most prestigious universities. There are plenty of other Admission Advisors in Pakistan too, not sure how the system works in India.

^^ AFAIK its better to do the whole admission process by yourself with help of internet n seniors than going to an outsider.

MBA school want to make class proportionate, that means someone from Pakistan/ Malaysia has higher chances of getting admit with lower score than an Indian applicant since it's a fact Indians score very very high on GMAT score as compared to other nationalities so for an Indian, GMAT score bar is very high as compared to his future classmates. Also want to point out that your application and essays makes a lot of difference, my friend wrote himself and I think that was the reason he fucked up! if you are not confident than better seek some professional help while writing essays, other things are beyond your control.

Study in Australia!

:D

It's so easy to get in and unless you get into one of the top universities in the US, the ones you can get into here will be far better.

Thanks for the advice. I am more relaxed now. After working hard for GMAT and having a dream its really depressing to hear such statement. I will try to contact some good admission consultants before I apply or may be I will try next time with better GMAT score and more experience. As you said ~ $ 80-100000 is huge money for us.

MBA requires big money in UK as well. Since you will be overseas student so expect no financial assistance from the government and you will be paying the rent like £60 - £100 pounds per week and that too until your MBA is not completed.

Your university will charge you £6000 - £8000 at least + you have to pay rent + you need money for transportation and food. Overall you will be required to gather more than 20,000USD as long as you don't work here as part time.

MBA is never easy you don't really get time to study if you are living alone and if you start working your education is hurt and if you concentrate on studies only you might lose your job........

Thats only for student visa? Or you are talking about living costs?

well, i was doing engineering at a university, my tuition fee was $6000 for a year, and two of my friends 1 for kuwait n 1 from pakistan on student visas both were paying $13000 for one year.

that's just 1 year fee.
