Can an Chinese Person translate this for me?

So, please keep trying please

No need to try, none of the Chinese members here consider you to be one of us.

Not a single one.

There is nothing to prove anyway, you already said yourself were a Mexican-Vietnamese. Why do I need to prove it when you already said it.

.
You don't have to listen to me. Obviously you don't have to read my posts either.

But you came on this forum and all the Chinese members (who are not all my drinking buddies by the way) have made their opinions on you perfectly clear. If you don't like all of our opinions then tough luck, that's not my problem.

Mexican-Vietnamese opinions on Chinese internal issues are irrelevant.
Mexican-Vietnamese? Their opinions may not matter....but can't help thinking a Mexican-Vietnamese girl would be HOT.

So did you conceded that YOU HAVE NO PROOF

I rest my case

Indeed it is.

I saw some in Puerto Rico last time I was on vacation, and man, if I wasn't married.....

I proved everything that I "claimed" (not what you said I claimed) so I proved everything already.

Anyone can read the previous page and see.

Is it true that Mandarin and Cantonese are like Spanish and Italian? (Close enough that you can understand perhaps half when spoken. I know both mutually understandable in written Chinese)

Not quite.

Mandarin and Cantonese are generally mutually unintelligible, due to the geographic distance. Even though they both originated from Middle Chinese and Old Chinese.

You can "guess" quite a lot though. Even if you have only a little bit of experience with the other dialect, you can do quite well and understand a lot, even if you aren't able to speak it.

The article in the OP though, you'd have to know Mandarin to translate it fully, because there are a lot of technical words there. If a person knew Cantonese and had no experience with Mandarin, they would be able to guess some of it but not enough to translate the full article properly.

dialect.

Lol whatever, seems like you want to proof I am not a Chinese more than I say I am a Chinese ( which is beside the point) anyway

And indeed you say your piece and I said mine, nothing more to argue

Lol honestly, for the last time, I don't really care what you and the Chinese member here think I am Chinese or not, this is the last thing on my mind. Not like i will get anything from any of you when I got your circle "approval" it's different story if you guys started to hand out cash lol

As long as I have my ID card renew and my passport so I can go back and enjoy the benefit, I don't care a crack arse on what you and your Chinese buddies think. LoL I got no gain to proof or disprove here on whether or not I am Chinese, I mean, what do I get if I join the club lol?

If you don't care what all the Chinese members here think then why are you always upset and arguing because of it.

You said you are Mexican-Vietnamese and I believe you.

I never said that. I was talking about China, specifically the PRC of which Hong Kong is a part of.

If you don't like our Chief Executive CY Leung then fine, if you don't like the CCP then fine. It's not exactly an uncommon sentiment anyway, so what is the big deal.

The issue is that you refer to America as "we" and Chinese people as "they", so we view your opinions as those of an outsider. Which you already admit you are.

First of all, last post before lunch

I don't know how or what is your national concept but for me I consider myself a national of that country if I have and had make or made the responsibility and right for that country

For that I will consider a hk Chinese is we( I voted and pay tax in Hong Kong) for legco
For that I will consider an American is we(I served in the military and voted and pay tax)
For that I will consider a swede is we ( as I shared that with my wife)
For that I will consider an Aussie is we ( as I just voted yesterday)

However for clarity sake if for an example in a post I mention both American and Aussie depend on the point I am taking I will say we American and them Aussie, or vice versa in order to make a clear point, well I can't say both we Aussie and we the American in the same post or it will set in confusion

If you dig deeper on my history you will also see I use the word "we Chinese"

. .
You forgot to put a "," between "we" and "Chinese".

[When Chinese sneeze, we all ran away and scream "BIRD FLU"]

Lol that was again coming at CCP censoring the bird flu news coming out of china.
Again you are saying individual have the power to cover up an incident that big of a scale??

While i'm living in a western country the natives don't refer me as one of their kind but simply referring me as Chinese despite i'm a holder of their passport. I have never encountered a single native be it white classmates/colleagues/teachers/strangers referring me the same ethnicity which is not a problem to me afterall i'm 100% Chinese. Even other minorities such as Turkish/Spanish/Polish/Indians/Viet/Indian or from other countries refer me as Chinese, the same applies to them they refer to themselves as part of their ethnic group despite not holding their native passports. Sure we can call you a Hong Kong citizen or a Chinese citizen if you also have a HKID and a Chinese passport so you are legal to reside in China but try ask any Chinese people in Mainland or HK if they consider you a Chinese after you tell them you are mixed. I'm willing to bet they will say you have Chinese and Mexican heritage rather than seeing you as a true Han. I don't see what the problem is referring yourself as mixed Chinese with Mexican background, no sense of pride of your Mexican heritage?
Sometimes you call yourself a Swede, then Australian then American then Chinese just because you have that piece of identification papers from these countries does not make you a Swede or a a true Chinese so no you are not one of us lol. You rather serve the US military than serving for the Chinese people should proof enough you don't like to protect Chinese but Americans and that has nothing to do with CCP. Man i had a good laugh when you claim you are one of us.

First thing first, paragraph is your friend, had a really hard time to understand what you are saying with all the point compacting on each other

Secondary here is your problem

i am willing to bet they say you have Chinese and Mexican hertiage....

The problem is you are mixing up hertiage and nationality

First off, I only say I am a Chinese, I never even claim I am a true Han, when I refer to my Chinese hertiage, I will always go deep and say I am half Chinese and half Mexican. The Chinese I refer to is actually that piece of paper saying that I am Chinese citizen, Swedish citizen, American citizen and Australian citizen

Ethnicity is another story, I don't know which part of swen you claim you live but nobody will ever ask me or refer to me as either Mexican or Chinese or Vietnamese, they ask where would I come from but they would think I am a fello swede even tho I am not white nor speak good Swedish

Same story in America and Australia, the only country where I will not be asked where I was from is china and its city, almost 20 years in both place and I have not even once asked where I was from beside HK or china

Where you can and even cd admit that an American can be of 100% Chinese heritage, so it can only be the reverse is also true
A Chinese citizen can be of 100% white as long as you pledge your right and responsibility to that county

Even in the army, no one ever refer me to as a Chinese, you are an American, plain and simple, you don't get to be call a Chinese or Hispanic just because you have their trace and heritage

So I see no point of stop calling myself a Chinese in the same flight with swedish, australian and american instead of Mexican and Vietnam which I have not pledge anything into?

So not calling myself a n Mexican and I Am offending my Mexican heritage?

By the way, there no Mexican heritage but the heritage is called Hispanic, and I am very proud of my Mexican/Hispanic heritage too

At least I speak Spanish better than Chinese, not because of anything, simply it is harder to learn Chinese that's all

WTF, China does not recognize dual-nationality. Let alone four nationalities.

If you are a Chinese national then you are a national of no other country.

Where you can and even cd admit that an American can be of 100% Chinese heritage, so it can only be the reverse is also true

That's right. The problem is you are not loyal to China at all.

You refer to Americans as "we" and Chinese people as "they". Hell you even claimed to have served in the US army.

You are a Mexican-Vietnamese American. Even Gary Locke could claim to be more Chinese than you, and he is not Chinese.

Divided loyalty is no loyalty at all.

I am not going to go deep on the second part as we have 2 different system on loyalty issue

China does not allow dual citizenship, true

But Hong Kong does, pre 1997 and since hksar passport are conferred automatically, without the need of given up all previous citizenship, you can keep whatever you got before turn over, just you cannot use those passport when you are in china or Chinese terrorises

Same goes bno and British citizenship passport, they are mere travel document in the Chinese government eyes.

Again I refer to as a Chinese citizen, not Han or ethnic Chinese, I don't ever call myself 100% Han (Chinese)
