Can a common Indian visit Pakistan ?

I have a desire to visit Pakistan. Primarily for the food and architecture in Lahore and the Northern Areas region for the mountains and lakes. Is that possible ? easy or difficult ? How does it work ? Any information would be helpful.

I have a Pakistani friend in Saudi. She lives and works there but is a Pakistani citizen and keeps visiting Multan every now and then. Can that help in any way ?
Ignore the nay Sayers, you will be pleasantly surprised if you visit Pakistan, the people are warm and friendly, more curious than angry at India( and Indians or maybe they were being polite:-))

The best way I would recommend is to travel by the samjhota exp. That train serves as a symbolic link between our two nations and is very budget friendly. Pakistanis are not as dependant on trains for internal travel as we are, so inquire about road transport well in advance. Their road infrastructure is better than ours ( atleast between all the major cities between Punjab and Sindh)

In Karachi you would need a localite and a local vehicle to traverse and truly enjoy the sights. Karachi is huge(imagine Mumbai with the intercity traffic and no dominant local train setup).

Inquire about staying recommendations or if you are lucky enough stay at a relative/friend's place. Pakistanis take 'mehman nawazi' seriously.

Hope you have an enjoyable trip.

OK, all jokes aside, I'll help you out.

Is that possible

Obviously, we're not North Korea.

easy or difficult

Medium. You being Indian will cause some difficulties but you should still be able to get in.

How does it work

Same way going to any 3rd world country would, except you have the added baggage of being from an enemy state.

Probably not. If anything, that might make things worse for both of you (Kafir men and Muslim women mixing is a big no-no in Pakistan, if people become aware they will get aggravated).

Also, I'd sincerely advise you don't tell people outside of Punjab/Sindh that you are Indian. And don't go to any tribal areas.

Who is the OP?these people are shaming u by calling Kafir , Gau mutra drinker , you are not welcome , no street shitters lmao and yet u want to visit Pakistan
Dont visit now as the situation is volatile , may be after 3-4 years

Rofl I love how Kafirs get so triggered by being called what they are. If the word hurts so much, maybe you should become Muslim.
No i am happy as a non muslim , for you we are Kafir , for us you are kafir

lol a bunch of nobodies on PDF saying otherwise doesn't make the situation "volatile".

OP is always welcome to visit Pakistan so is anyone else, even those that hate Pakistan. You never know who might change their perspective.

Also, for all those trolling here on the OP, please be more kind, no matter who they are and what they have said on this forum. We, as Pakistanis, are a hospitable nation. If anyone wants to visit us, why not give him/her a chance??

:what:

"Kafir" is a Arabic word.....I didn't know Hinduism or whatever religion you're from uses Arabic. :D

There is only one meaning of Kafir, and that's someone who isn't Muslim. So no matter what way you spin it, we are not Kafirs. You are.

However, you will never be shuhuda no matter how much you try to plagiarise that word.

Don't worry though, your dead will never be shuhuda no matter how much you try to plagiarise that word.
Actually, it applies ot idol worshipers, not Christians, Jews and muslims. The rest are kaffirs but not these 3 people

With Indian ethnicity you might not be allowed to visit gilgit baltistan .
Or you might not get the visa.
But the new government has lifted every restriction to tuorist for the North and azad kashmir and they are open to any person . Don't know about Indians.
