By that logic, India, Pakistan and BD (and for that matter all commonwealth countries and USA) should have no diplomatic relations with UK. I can't say about other indians, but to me he is just another favourabe western leader as the world stands today.

Going by the logic of distancing descendants of people who committed atrocities a long long time ago. Europe should be isolating Germans, Japan should kick USA out, all of the commonwealth should say goodbye to Britain, Chinese should not be doing business with Japan, entire Latin America should keep away from anything Portuguese or Spanish and native Americans/Australians should be doing suicide attacks on current rulers.
