State law takes precedence over personal preference. State law takes precedence over religious law. Get it?
It's also telling that only one (1) individual of all Muslim women in France decided take the matter onto the Human Rights Court.
So why criticize and morn when a state law of one country makes women wear Hijab for e,g Iran or Saudi Arabia. Why criticize them when you are no less hypocrites than they are specially when it comes to protecting the rights of one so called muslim women who prefers to wear Hijab due to her personal preference and not because someone is forcing her too.
Lets face it West accuses muslim countries of being less tolerant towards other minorities while they themselves are no better when oppressing the rights of their own minorities(muslims in this case).
Their Country , their rules. If you don't like it , don't go there....
I hope you say the same next time washingtion post or NYT writes an article on how the women in Pakistan are being oppressed and how Christians are forcefully converted to Islam.
