As far as how long he will be president, obviously we do not know yet. He will probably serve longer than the recent presidents. I was against him removing the term limits but I do understand the rationale. The reality is that the core of the Chinese govt is rallying around him because they are transforming the Chinese govt from an overly bloated corrupt govt infiltrated by neolibs to a disciplined, purposeful govt that has to withstand the increasing attacks from the West in the next 10-15 years as China overtakes the West in development. So that is what is happening. Corruption in China has significantly been reduced in the last 10 years. I know that because I get the same message from a lot of contacts I know on the ground there, from the regulatory bodies, to administrative bodies, etc, things are a lot more regulated, cleaner and disciplined and corruption is severely punished.
